Breathtaking home with unforgettable views

Pool /spa open may-October 1st weather permitting
This perfect peaceful and private home on 5 acres is great for unwinding and relaxing weather it is enjoying the day by the incredible pool/hot tub or star gazing at night. far from the noise and pollution of city life. You can spend a weekend or a week away from work life because you deserve it. Close to Foxwoods casino and Mohegan sun casino, super Walmart and other stores. please let us know before booking more than 4 people weather its just for the day or night. no loud music, no parties.

Access to the whole house and all outside areas. We offer two bedrooms with two Queensize beds and closets we also have two full size cots with 5” mattresses available one in the living room and one in the finished basement area. Garage is unavailable and will be locked along with 2 of our personal/storage rooms as this is our personal vacation home Also. No one will be on the property during your stay. 2 exterior cameras are also located on the property 1 exterior camera located outside above the front door where the lockbox is, the 2nd exterior camera is located outside facing the driveway.

Great for a quick family weekend

For a quick little weekend getaway this property was perfect. My kids and I spent most of our waking hours while we were there in the pool and hot tub when we were not exploring the surrounding area. Great weekend with plenty of local farmers markets in farm stands and plenty of areas to go fishing. Close to Uconn and other attractions. Great place for a quick weekend getaway.

Home in Columbia, CT

The home was lovely and just a short distance to the winery where my nephew was married. It was clean and comfortable and had a large kitchen where we all could gather for meals. We enjoyed watching movies in the large family room. We would definitely recommend renting this home for a stay in this area!

I was not going to leave a review because as a VRBO owner I understand that things are sometimes out of our control as homeowners. However after being berated by the owners and the house is nothing like the pictures I need to at the minimum warn others. They will of course call me “entitled” and pass the blame. When we arrived, there were ants in the kitchen, the lawn and weeds were out of control, there were windows open, no extra blankets, broken light switches (internally) that can cause fires, the pool water was good when we arrived but lost water in 1 day to which the owners chewed us out for putting more in. (Only trying to help not cause harm) they chewed us for turning the pool heat down 2 degrees (only trying to save them money usually people crank it up and get chewed out not the other way) The house was dirty. (Oven, floors, cobwebs, steak oven, pool and more) The deadbolt was busted. Holes in walls from curtain rods being repositioned. The shower drain was in 3 pieces and doesn’t drain well (most likely hair clogged. That happens at ours too) They charged us 360 dollars for a broken cot that our 60 lb child slept on. They said we ripped pillows apart that our student council president immediately saw were ripped apart upon arrival. They will and have every right to rip this apart and should be able to as owners. We have stayed in 15 to 20 VRBOs and never had an experience this bad. I will say that Heather did let us in 2 hours early and that was nice of her.

Perfect Christmas Gift!

Everything about our visit was perfect! My wife and I came to CT to enjoy an early Christmas with our children and grandkids! The Hosts were awesome and the property had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!
