Glamping 50 miles from Mt Baker

Camp glamorously in a private, secluded oasis at Sundara West. Fall asleep in a plush king-sized bed lulled by the peaceful quietness, or maybe to the sounds of a distant train, soft mooing of cows, or the distant wailing of coyotes. Wake up to the cooing of doves or the distant crowing of roosters and have your coffee on the large deck enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

For your convenience, there is a mini kitchen with running hot and cold water, a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker (with coffee and sugar), tableware & table & chairs. If it’s chilly out, get cozy in front of the gas log stove. To enhance your comfort is an electric fan & heater, a heated mattress pad and plush throws. A gas grill with utensils and cast iron pans are available to cook a hot breakfast and/or a delicious dinner. After dinner enjoy playing games (provided), taking a swim or soaking in your private hot tub.

. Those staying in the tent will use the pool bathroom (with shower) which is 40 steps from the tent entering the pool house thru the back. We take reservations for the pool so that use is private. There is a fire pit at the playground (s’mores makings and firewood provided). If you want the kiddies to enjoy this experience with you, we have 2 sleeping mats and sleeping bags. We are pet friendly and charge a one time fee of $50.

We loved our stay at the glamping tent, right from the start when we were greeted by our host Jackie we felt very weclomed to her beautifully landscaped place and had a great time relaxing in the hot tub and pool. Hanging out in the glamping tent was great, your in your own little oasis there with a hot tub and outdoor shower in back and large front deck with bbq and rocking chairs to hang out and listen to all the creatures and sounds of nature

A little piece of paradise

We loved our stay here. Jackie was very lovely to interact with. She responded quickly. The tent had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids absolutely loved the pool!! The Bellingham bike trails were a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

What a ge!

This one of the most thoughtful properties I’ve ever stayed at. We stayed in the glamping tent which was comfortable and cozy. I appreciated all the personal touches, beautiful landscaping, and very attentive and gracious hosts. My kids loved the property and would live in that pool if they could. Would love to visit again!

The most beautiful place I have ever been to in all my travels

I have been a few places and love to travel but this was the most beautiful place I have stayed at. Fanciest Glamping I have ever seen at their Sundara B&B. Where they also have rooms and a cabin to rent. The tent is fully set up with heaters and heated blankets Incase your cold. Fridge and microwave with a grill that covers most types of cooking. Prefect personal blow up hot tub that is placed in a pretty private spot. They have adorable natural sprays that are made locally and you can purchase. There is a pool on the property which I used daily! Its heated and great for leisure and laps. The place is only a 10 min drive from a quaint little town with great selection for food. Now if you get a chance to taste Jackie’s breakfast you must! It is a taste of Heaven. Already talking with family members about going back.

A place for peaceful, getaway and to reset

Jackie our host took care of it all. She is very thoughtful to put all the required things at the place. The location is pretty, the interior of the tent is well furnished and beautiful. You will get your own hot tub. The whole space is very private and secluded from others. If you are looking for a place to just stay, reset and be peaceful this is it.

My husband, Marshall & I are retired from other careers and now enjoy hosting others and sharing our little piece of heaven! I taught Spanish, 3rd & 4th grade, and ESL. Marshall was a pediatrician and neonatologist. We have moved 17 times (Army). Our #1 joy is being grandparents! We really love hearing the delighted voices of children enjoying our pool and playground! We enjoy meeting others and hearing of their life's adventures. Looking forward to making your visit perfect and memorable!
