Escape to our cozy 1-bedroom suite nestled in a serene forest setting. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, this charming retreat features a comfy King bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and sofa bed perfect for two small children. Unwind on the private deck surrounded by nature, or explore nearby world-class biking and hiking trails, Lake Whatcom, and local restaurants and breweries. With its peaceful ambiance and modern amenities, our lower level suite is ideal for a quiet getaway or a base for outdoor adventures.

Parking: One dedicated driveway space for this unit. Sudden Valley HOA rules require guests to park on the property only, so street and shoulder parking isn't allowed. Bringing more than one car? Message me before booking.

Dogs welcome. Per Sudden Valley rules, dogs must be leashed and under control at all times outside.

This is the lower level of a two-unit home, so you may hear footsteps or movement from the unit above. If you're a light sleeper, keep that in mind when booking.

Very nice accommodations. Well stocked kitchen. Some noise from upstairs guests, but overall very peaceful. Very comfy bed!

Perfect house for us to stay in while here on our visit to the Cascades. Host was amazing with quick responses and helped solve any problems we had. House had everything we could need for the stay and more!

Worked for us attending a wedding in Bellingham. I didn’t really look at the picture of the stairs and being 80 years old that that’s a bit of a challenge but we managed fine and had what we needed.

This lovely space is perfect for 1-2 people. It is tucked into a quiet neighborhood, which is filled with beautiful trees, ferns, and walking paths. It is located on a dead-end street, and parking can be a bit tight, but it is conveniently located adjacent to the property. Torrey is wonderful to communicate with.

We traveled with a pet so the proximity of this property to walking trails was a plus! We used this property as a home base to sleep and it fit our needs perfectly. The accommodation were clean and well cared for. The host provided a lot of small conveniences like coffee/tea, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash which was much appreciated. The host was attentive during our stay and communicated with us daily to make sure we had what we needed.

Great Host! Torrey responded quickly, and the property was very clean. Parking was pretty comfortable for Sudden Valley, where parking tends to be pretty tight.

Nice location and vibe for the price. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The entire unit was very clean and easy to access. The master bed was a king and very comfortable. The pull-out bed in the living room is a double, but it has a large gap down the middle, so it feels more like a twin. The apartment was well appointed, and everything worked. This unit is on the ground floor, and there is another unit above, so when people enter or exit the property, they go right past your window. As well, you hear everything in the upstairs apartment, from talking to television to people stomping on the floor. The stairs to access the unit from the street are quite steep and may be challenging for the elderly or people with disabilities. We loved the location and relaxing on the deck.

Beautiful home, in extremely quiet neighborhood, surrounded by mature trees. Host was quick to answer my questions befoe and after check in. Fully stocked kitchen including a dual door air fryer. All bathroom necessities, and extra towels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Large deck, parking right in front, and a neighborhood trail at the end of the cul-de-sac. Being a dog friendly home is the icing on this cake. Cheddar, my dog, and I will definitely be back!Kaci
