Cedar Lodge Lookout is the perfect romantic getaway. This cozy, rustic cabin is located in the gorgeous Ozark National Forest. Whether you are looking for a couple’s getaway or a fun family vacation, Cedar Lodge has it all.
The Master bed has a king size bed and the 2nd loft bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Enjoy endless outdoor activities such as: hiking, visiting waterfalls and rivers, float trips, rock climbing, ATV trails, watching wildlife, swimming holes, horseback riding, visiting caves, mountain biking, fishing and hunting and the beautiful Scenic Byway 7 that features the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The Buffalo National River access points for canoeing, fishing and swimming are just a short scenic drive away. After an adventurous day of outdoor fun, come home to a relaxing evening sitting around the fire pit, or enjoying time with family on the spacious deck grilling up your favorite meal and soaking in the peaceful scenery and beautiful views. Our cabin has a wonderful sunroom where you can sip your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the beautiful Ozark mountains. We are located close to the Richland Creek Wilderness area, the Big Piney Creek and Haw Creek Recreation area. One of our favorite things about this location is that the drive to a destination is just as treasured as the actual attraction.

The cabin was extremely comfortable! The beds were so nice. This was the perfect place for our girls weekend getaway. Everything is stocked very well and the host was super responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Property was just as represented. Bed was comfy and cozy and all linens were fresh and nice. Living room furniture was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware for cooking and serving. View was beautiful! Really enjoyed the porch/balcony for sunrise, evenings, star-gazing.

Beautiful cabin! Very secluded and i really like that it was off the road. Pretty much exactly as advertised and very clean. It has all the amenities you need for a weekend stay. The waterfalls were a little further away than i expected, but closer than if we had come from our house! Great experience, I'd recommend this place for a nice quite weekend getaway.

Amazing cabin away from everything, but Close to the highway. They were very accommodating to letting us check in early the day of our arrival. Very close to one of our favorite UTV trails Car Wash Falls.. they also had pamphlets of other things to see and do. Had a great time sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning watching dragonflies and at night watching the stars.

Perfect cozy cabin!

The perfect place to be for a rainy week! The large windows made us feel like we were part of nature, even while socked in by fog and rain. We enjoyed reading books, napping, and playing games. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were extremely comfortable! We had absolutely everything we could possibly want or need. On sunny days, we enjoyed beautiful views from the deck and Scenic Byway 7 and had a beautiful hike up Lost valley to Eden Falls. We’ll have to return sometime when it’s not rainy season. But even in the rain, this was a perfect vacation cabin and perfect week for us!

Spring Break getaway

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed looking at the stars every night from the big back porch. Lots to do in every direction. We had a SxS and did trails everyday.

Had a great time being away from it all

It definitely was the cabin out in the woods we were asking for. House was clean and had a good bed in the master room and loft. The area was great and we had a lot of fun hiking and exploring. The plates and cups are good but the pans are a little worn out.

Beautiful cabin and property

Stayed here with a friend of mine and enjoyed it very much. Clean and comfortable cabin in a private area. We were there in early March so trees had not leafed out yet. Would be excellent in summer or fall for beautiful views. Limited cell service, but was not a problem for us. Good communication from the host. Note, the cabin is in a dry county, so if you want adult beverages, plan accordingly to bring them with you. Overall excellent place!

Just what we were looking for!

If we were to build a cabin for ourselves, this would be it! Spacious, modern, private, comfortable, great deck and porch, and the loft is a treat.

Amazing Cabin RZR riding perfect location!!

The cabin was perfect for our stay and much needed vacation! We spent every day riding our RZR for an entire week! Rode over 500 miles and still touch the surface of trails available! Cabin was clean and had everything we could possibly need! Would definitely recommend and return if we get the chance! Thank you!

Wonderful cabin

We drove up from Hot Springs to stay at this cabin and the drive to the cabin was one of our favorite parts. The cabin is secluded and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The house had tons of amenities that were helpful during our stay and the bed was so comfy! Highly recommended 10/10

Clean and peacful

The cabin is truely cozy and peaceful. For a family of 5 it was comfortable and wonderful. We were super impressed on the cleanliness even being out in the wilderness. The patio view and space was perfect for grilling. The bonfire area was also great to sit at for a morning coffee or night time fire.

Wonderful quiet clean cabin

We had a wonderful time on vacation at this cabin. It's so peaceful there. The cabin was clean and well maintained. It had all the amenities we needed. Sheri is an awesome host and I would love to go back.
