気になった点 : 清潔度、チェックイン、コミュニケーション、ロケーション、掲載情報の正確さ
Property was occupied but they took my money anyway.
I booked this property on VRBO and when I spoke to the property manager she asked if I booked on some other site which I didn't know why it mattered. I knew I booked it and they accepted my money. I spoke with her about an hour before arriving at the home and she said it was all clean and ready. Mind you that this person lived a couple of doors from the unit. When we arrive the home was occupied be two girls that had paid for the same place at a different site. This manager had the gall to tell me it was my fault because I said I booked it on the site she asked me about. She took both of our monies and knew that the other people were in the place an hour before I arrived. Can you say SCAM!!! She then told me that she would refund the money to which I said "That's not the point, I now have nowhere to stay for 18 days and my two golden retrievers and my wife are with me". WE then had to scramble to find a hotel that would take my dogs and it costs me twice as much to stay there as it would have through VRBO. I certainly feel like VRBO owes me the difference from the place I booked in good faith to the LaQuinta Inn 20 miles away from our original destination.
