Florida Cottage newly renovated in great neighborhood! Walk or bike to multiple parks, the bay, publix, uptown station and more! This 2 bed 1 bath is like new with a covered carport & Large Front Storage Room with Bikes & Beach Chairs ready for you! The back porch is covered and screened in! The large backyard has a grill and is fenced in with some 6' wood privacy and chain link. Inside this cottage has a brand new bathroom and updated kitchen with an oversized laundry room right off the front storage room. Rental comes with 2 bikes you can ride to the grocery, ferry park to play disc golf or run the track, there are 3 bay beach access areas all with in walk or bike distance! This home is on a quiet street in a great neighborhood! You can see Destin across the choctawhatchee Bay from the front driveway or walk 1 mile to the end of Bay street and see the Wednesday night boardwalk or Thursday night Destin HarborWalk FIREWORKS All Summer from memorial day to labor day! This bright yellow Florida Sunshine Pineapple cottage will make you smile from the moment you check in! Come enjoy your stay in one of Florida's greatest family neighborhoods!

Very peaceful

The house was the perfect size for our family. Our dog had plenty of room to play, so did our children. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the back porch each night. It was in a peaceful neighborhood and not far from the beach. Very enjoyable.

Gem on the Emerald Coast

The Pineapple house in Fort Walton Beach was a great place for our familh to stay while visiting family in the area. We loved having coffee in the enclosed and shaded sun room each morning, and used the 3 adult sized bicycles that were provided to tour the neighborhood, visit nearby beach access points and enjoy Ferry Park. It was a perfect fit for our family of 5 although I think fitting 6 people would be a stretch, unless your 6th person is a small child who could fit on the loveseat. All in all this was a gem of a find and worked out perfectly for our vacation.

First and foremost I have to hand it to the property team with fast responses and patience with making our stay very comfortable. The amenities were perfect for my elderly parents celebrating their 53rd Anniversary. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, convenient location!

Adorable beach house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and central to all the places we wanted to go. We loved having coffee on the screened-in back porch in the morning. Also, it was very convenient to have the washer and dryer available. We would recommend!

Resident needs control of air conditioning unit (Nest).

The house was fine as far as amenities. However, the owner controls the nest, so even though we set it to begin cooling off 30 minutes before we arrived home, there was an override system. All of us own this system and know how to operate them. Most evenings we arrived home to 85+ degrees. It took hours to get the house cooled down.

Home away from home

While visiting for a family emergency, this host was considerate, courteous, and eager to assist in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Truly appreciated the consideration while dealing with a difficult situation. This would also be my 2nd time renting from this host, but will absolutely not be my last. Thank you again!

Neat, clean and good neighborhood

neat, clean, safe neighborhood, nice decor I don’t want to be negative, this is a very nice clean unit and we made it work. We were visiting from SC for a nephews high school graduation. The details said it sleeps 6, there were 6 of us, grandparents (70’s), parents (40’s) and kids (10 and 11), and 1 small dog (was just fine) couch only sits 2 and wasn’t a pull out couch which was our idea for kids or parents to sleep. I happened to bring a blow up mattress which saved sleeping. Bunk beds were great and slept just fine for parents and made it work. The main bedroom is where grandparents slept however can be challenging for Seniors, they are in their 70’s and getting up and down in that bed isn’t for that type of age they’ve had knee replacements, it’s a nice bed, modern design and low to the ground, comfy mattress but, not for grandparents age. We had a great time during our stay and were there to rest our head and sleep. If I’d suggest any changes, could utilize space more, bigger couch for seating and sleeping. Trade out the glass table for something more realistic function, kids are kids and I was nervous to bump a head on the glass corner because it’s so clear it really is hard to judge the depth and closeness of the high traffic area. There weren’t any extra linens in the cabinet for sleeping like bed sheets or blankets. In the check out sheet on refridge said there was but there wasn’t. Host was great, sending email entry instruction and we had a good time.

Great Stay at Pineapple by the Bay!

This house was nicely decorated and equipped, with a great fenced backyard for our dogs with a nice screened porch for the people. Clean, comfortable and located near main restaurant areas and short drive to beaches. Recommended if you are in the area.

Pineapple House at Fort Walton Beach

Amazing place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great communication and very quick response from the property owners. They go above and beyond to accommodate guests for a wonderful stay. This will be our first choice when we return next year.
