The Salty Snapper is a pet-friendly, two-story St. George Island vacation rental set in a quiet neighborhood with some of the island's best bay views and sunsets. Elevated living.

Bay Views & Outdoor Spaces
A wraparound top-floor porch offers sweeping views of the bay and bridge—perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. Downstairs, enjoy the screened-in private pool, an enclosed patio with bay views, and outdoor grilling space for laid-back evenings.

With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, the home offers comfort, privacy, and space for the entire group.

-Scenic 20-minute drive to Apalachicola, known for fresh seafood, boutiques, and Oyster City Brewing
Sunset views, bay breezes, and family-friendly amenities come together to create a relaxed St. George Island escape designed for making memories.

-This property is dog friendly. A non-refundable pet fee of $180+TAX will be charged. Please note that additional fees may apply if we find any damage, excessive pet hair, stains, or waste (inside or outside) upon checkout.
-The person reserving the home must be at least 25 years old and is fully responsible for all guests. This individual must be present at check-in and remain for the full stay.
-Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the unit and in all nearby areas, including patios and balconies. Any evidence will result in a $500 cleaning fee.
-Initial essentials are provided as a convenience, and guests are encouraged to shop for personal preferences.
-A digital guest guide will be provided ahead of your stay outlining access instructions and local tips.
-This rental does not include beach towels.

Very clean, large fenced in yard for pets to run, downstairs a/c unit cooled the area very well. Only complaint was no extra trash bags and toilet paper available (left out to use if needed), had to purchased trash bags and toilet paper.

The location was great with easy access to downtown and the bay. The open kitchen to living area was perfect for family dinners. There is plenty of outside space for the dog.The house needs some updates.

We enjoyed staying in this house; there was plenty of room in the house and the lot was big with plenty of room to park. Everything was clean. There were just a few things that we noticed that needed improving. There wasn't much silverware in the kitchen. I guess several pieces had gotten lost over the years. The sofa wasn't supportive and probably needs replacing. The shade in one of the bedrooms was broken so the sun shines in brightly as soon as the sun rises. Overall, it was nice staying there. It's very peaceful on that side of the island. The sunsets over the bay are beautiful!

Awesome Place! Peaceful and Great Location!

The house was perfect for us! Pool was great. Close to all the restaurants and other activities. Great view of the sunsets over the bay! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful home on St. George Island!

We had an absolute wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, clean, spacious and in a great location. Close to beach and downtown. We also enjoyed the screened in private pool. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Great place!

We only stayed two nights but it’s a great little house for a family with teens. The game room downstairs was well needed on a rainy day! And the screened in pool was great!

Family Beach Trip

Great rental on St George Island. Spent time with my wife and four kids. Game room and pool were big hits. Would 100% stay here again.

Home away from home

SGI is our favorite vacation spot and have been coming for years. Overall the house was beautiful and our stay was wonderful. We would visit this home again. Easy upgrades or repairs needed but it didnt hinder our time at all.

Great porch Gulf View, Pool, Games, great location

We loved our stay at the Salty Snapper. It was perfectly located on a quiet street with gulf facing filtered view. Basement with ping pong, foosball. Beds are comfortable, smart TV, close to everything and our favorite Oyster Bar Paddy’s. Had a bit of trouble with the air conditioner but it is being tended to.

The property fit our family. It was too cold to enjoy the pool however it was nice to sit beside it. I would suggest bringing your own favorite pan as theirs did stick. It was a bit musty smelling as well. My only real complaint was the floors weren't that clean so shoes were a must unless you like dirty feet. The beds were comfortable and the downstairs playspace allows for lots of fun! We will definitely return.
