I didn't realize this was a basement property. There was decent window light but definitely noise from the upstairs house (walking & dropping things).

Cute place, walking distance to downtown

Very cute and clean, and very well appointed! The only issue I had was the 2nd bed was sort of a foldout couch bed that could really only sleep 1, not 2. The management company was very responsive and we were able to make it work - but it really only sleeps 3 comfortably.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay in Buena Vista at Alpine Den. The flat is in a super cute developing area on South Main. The unit itself is beautiful, cozy and private and has everything needed for a stay. There was plenty of onstreet parking. Evenings were quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner/property manager was great, too. Definitely recommend staying at Alpine Den!

Family getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this basement unit. It is a short walk to the river and the river park. It’s also less than half a mile walk from the Main Street eateries. It had all the comforts of home with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom was comfy however the sofa bed was a bit small for an 11 and 13 yr old to share. As it is a basement unit, there are no windows you can look out of to take in the views of the mountains. its a great unit for a couple. .

Nice loft , disapointing location!

This loft is very nice , but BE AWARE , it is located in the middle of a construction zone! Buildings are under construction literally on both sides of the unit. We checked in on Friday afternoon and left on Monday morning and the construction work never stopped ! No indication of such in listing. It is a basement loft so there is no where to sit outside except for a very small back entrance . The unit is nice, but the listing is not totally accurate.

Great stay in bv

We couldn’t have stayed at a better property. The place was cute and well kept. Had all the necessities for making breakfast and keeping us warm on those chilly nights. The location was perfect. Right between the older Main Street and the newer end of Main Street. We are definitely going to be back!

Perfect BV Getaway

My husband and I have spent a lot of time in BV over the last 7 years! This was by far our most enjoyable experience yet and Trails End Retreat was a big part of that. Adorable, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and right in the middle of old/new main. After long days or adventuring, hiking, and enjoying the abundance that BV has to offer, it was the perfect place to come home to. Honestly, felt like home! Highly recommend this property for any solo traveler, couple, or smaller group that’s hoping to get the most out of their BV experience.

Just what we needed

Trails End was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was ideal. I appreciated having the washer/dryer, adjustable heat in each room, and full kitchen to make all our meals. (A few extra kitchen towels would have been helpful) The bed was comfortable. Out of curiosity, we checked out the pull out couch but it was not comfortable. It was uneven so I would not expect that to accommodate an adult or couple with any comfort. Kids might be fine on it. We would definitely stay again but not if we needed something for more than the two of us.

Nice place

We usually stay with friends in Buena Vista when we visit but didn't have that option this time. We were glad to find The Trails End B&B. Very light, clean cozy and well appointed and also located downtown within walking to food, shopping or hiking. The only thing I'd mention is that the apartment is in a basement ( but very bright and airy!) but to which are long steep stairs (so just be careful) . You also have people above you. We heard them walking around and their tv, but we found a fan in closet and turned it on to drown out noise. Worked perfectly and slept great every night! Well, except for my wonderful husband's snoring. Delightful atmosphere, nice kitchen and bath amenities, BIG screen tv in LR and bedroom, W/D if you need and they were very communicative, quick to respond to my questions. I highly recommend this place!

We had an awesome stay in BV. The place was perfect!! Very close to everything we needed. The neighborhood is super cute. Lots of construction around but it really wasn’t an issue. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic BV stay

Clean, modern, new, fully stocked, coMfortable and walkable to everything you we needed. There is a lot of construction happening around the rental but this did not bother us because we were out exploring all day.
