Pack your bags as our home is waiting for you! Walk out lower level family room with patio, grill and griddle. Main floor living space with full balcony overlooking the lake with NO obstructions! Sits beside a marina where you can rent a boat during the warmer seasons for the day to go fishing or to the beach area and jump off the boat or fish off the dock! Bring your own boat! But you can always just relax in a very large hot tub! Roast marshmallows over the open fire pit and make smores. You can also grill on a grate over the pit to enjoy wood cooked food! In the warmer seasons you can play lawn games or choose many in house games. Upscale, quant town of Skaneateles just 12 miles away to enjoy in any season!! And visit the wine trails, or take in the theater at the Cortland Repertory Theater and enjoy its relaxing atmosphere! Drive up to hike the nearby 90 foot tall Carpenter's waterfall near Skaneateles or Tinker Falls in Tully NY. Exploring the Village of Skaneateles' unique shops, boutiques and world class restaurants is exciting and memorable! Exploring the wine country on Rt.5/20, and the Finger Lakes Region of beautiful Upstate New York. Also very near are a number of apple orchards, Song Mountain Ski Resort and Greek Mountain and several golf courses. Or you might want to pack a picnic lunch and watch the Polo Games in August on the outskirts of Skaneateles. Join others to turn the turf after each game! Very exciting to watch and participate. Oh yes, try your hand at Kayaking. We have 4 available for your use as well as life jackets! So much to do! Check in at 4:00 pm and begin developing new memories! Check out by 10:00 am hoping to return soon! We look forward to your stay!! Your HOME away from home!

The house and property are beautiful. Everything was spotless and our stay was perfect. Denise is very responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again without hesitation. It was about a 30 min ride to Syracuse University, we stayed here for parents weekend.

The cottage is gorgeous and in excellent location near Skaeneatles. All rooms were sparkling clean, kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed using the kayaks.

Great Time

Loved everything about this place and the Host was very responsive. Nicely furnished with enough room for the 6 of us. Access to the water was super great especially for the 2 kids. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect and had everything we needed, and more, for a great vacation. We enjoyed kayaking, SUPing and floating on the lake, using the hot tub and playing cornhole, visiting Skaneateles and renting a boat on Owasco Lake. We did some hiking nearby and enjoyed great local restaurants. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Loved the lake

This house was great for our family’s stay. We loved spending time out in the back yard and using the kayaks! The open kitchen was great for socializing while making meals. Host is very friendly. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lake front property.

Beautiful home right on the lake. The kids loved the fishing and the fire pit. The views were equally beautiful. The owners were easy going and responsive.

Beautiful home with plenty of space and all necessary amenities. Owner seemed easy-going and readily responded to inquiries. Marina was nearby for boat parking/launching. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful weekend at the lake

Beautiful, well appointed home right on the water. Flat yard is great for cornhole and badminton. Enjoyed the hot tub, grilling out and s’mores around the fire. Highly recommended!

Immaculate, well appointed lake housr

Very clean and comfortable house. Our family did not feel like we were staying in a rental property. The lake is located in a picturesque valley. The location is convenient to dining and shopping in Skaneateles. The house is located at the southern portion of Lake Otisco. This part of the lake has a mud bottom which does make the water very murky. The host is very accommodating.

Better than advertized

We enjoyed kayaks (rare to have 4), cornhole game, swimming and gathering around the cute gas fire pit on the spacious deck. Good selection of board games. All as advertised and better. Note that there is no dining table (was not a big deal for us - we easily adapted; so many other things small and not that were great).

Great Relaxing Summer Vacation Getaway

We enjoyed our time at the Lake Otisco house. The house,location (steps from the lake), the views & amenities were great! Thank you for the S'mores treat basket! We enjoyed it several times at the firepit. Loved all the amenities in the house: indoor/outdoor games,kayaks,grill, hot tub and more. The store across the street was a nice bonus for fishing supplies, firewood, snacks, drinks,etc. We were happy to help the hosts with watering all the beautiful flowers outside too. Great place to go if you need to relax and get away from everyday craziness. Thank you!

Quiet house on Lake Otisco

We stayed at this house on Lake Otisco for the Syracuse graduation in May 2023. It was about 37 minutes from campus, and it was a nice quiet get away from all the hubbub in town. We had two young adults, two parents and three grandparents. Lots of nooks and crannies to relax in, the hot tub was great, and two nice family room areas. There’s a king bedroom and a queen bedroom upstairs that share a bathroom. Then there are five twin beds that are all in the same room, separated by a partial wall into two twins and three twins that share a powder room. Then downstairs there’s the extra family room and a full bathroom with shower. We also rented a boat from Lake Otisco marina which is right next-door and we had it all day, and it was perfect.

We truly love our lakefront property and enjoy it most often from Thursday until Saturday each week with the exception of rental season. This is truly a beautiful get away and relaxing property. We are not yet fully retired but are also very busy with our children and grandchildren. We decided to rent this property so others can enjoy it as well!

This property brings with it a sense of peace. Very enjoyable to watch the boats leaving and coming back to the marina. It also offers you a flat backyard to play in and just a few steps to the water. Easy entry into the water for boating. We searched for a long time before we decided on this property and it just HIT us when we saw it. Easy to get to, access to many venues and just PEACEFUL!!!!

It is unique as it is so accessible! Especially to the lake. NO stairs to climb to get to the lake, no woods so the bugs are NOT bugging YOU! LOL!! Beautiful views of the lake and surroundings! The home offers quiet seperate spaces for privacy and relaxation. The bottom patio offers sweeping views of the lake as well as a grill and a Black Stone flat top. All you need to operate these pieces of equipment are ready for you! The top deck also offers lake views. Sit back and turn on the firepit and relax with your favorite beverage and mute lighting in the evening! And lets not forget the sky when all the beautiful colors are almost at your level. Very welcoming and for sure PEACEFUL!! OOPS! Let's not forget the Hot TUB! NOW that's relaxing!
