We had a lovely time. The hot tub was great and the little house had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the property. The hidden swing was a gem!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay over the weekend, coming to the island for a friend's wedding. Everything was simple and easy, from the check in process to the use of amenities. Sitting under the stars in the hot tub was a highlight!

Exactly what we hoped for!

The property was exactly what we hoped for. It was quiet, clean, and there was a big yard for our dog to sniff around in. The property is only 15 minutes from town which is perfect to get away from all the summer activity at the end of a long day. I would definitely stay here again!

It’s a lovely place. You must have a car. John is easy to contact. Address on tree could be larger and more reflective for night arrivals and more light from parking area to front door; for safety reasons. Very bare kitchen, bring all your coffee needs,etc. Town is 7 miles away.

Very peaceful stay

We needed to get away from work and this cottage was perfect, very peaceful and enjoyed the beautiful landscaped property as well as the hot tub. Definitely will be staying again!

Great property, quiet and beautiful

Stayed in the studio. It was fully stocked with everything I needed. John, the property manager was very responsive and was onsite a few times to check on the property. He was personable and was a great resource for local info.Thank you for a wonderful spot!

Rhubarb Studio in Spring

We don't understand why the San Juan's aren't busier in May. It's really the most beautiful time of the year! The property was just lovely, with blooming lilacs and perennials (thanks to Lisa for her green thumb!), the lush green meadow, multiple song birds, and even a red fox visitor! We live the new hit tub! Such a wonderful retreat!

Peaceful stay

This was a great place, nice property, close to Friday harbor but far enough away to make you feel like you are a little off the grid. Hot tub was super relaxing! Would be fun to go with a bigger group and rent the whole property!

Island countryside

This was the perfect spot on San Juan island. We enjoyed that it was a little tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Friday Harbor but still so close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Another lovely relaxing stay

We always enjoy our status at the Rhubarb House guest studio. This time the cottage had a new look with hardwood floors, and the hot tub is being moved to a new location so guests from both buildings can enjoy it. Even during a cloudy, chilly week it was a great opportunity to relax, recharge, and and enjoy the holiday.

Lovely getaway
