Brand new 4-bedroom + 2 full bath Lake House in East Okoboji/Spirit Lake, located near Barefoot Bar and 10 minutes to Arnold’s Park area. This new lake house offers plenty of clean space for 2 families to get away and relax with a wrap-around deck and grill. All the amenities you need including a full kitchen and living space, in-house laundry, as well as comfortable beds with blackout curtains so everyone can rest and recharge! Perfect for our group!

Great setting far enough away from the hustle but close enough for a quick cab ride. Very clean and comfortable house would definitely stay again!

Nice property for a family stay

We enjoyed our stay in Okoboji! House and amenities were very nice. Beds were comfortable. The living room space has limited seating but for us it was great since we had 3 older teens who preferred the bedrooms. Close to everything and owner communication was great!

Wedding in Okoboji

The property was nice and the location was the best part. We had a busy weekend because of a family wedding. We did not spend a lot of time there but it was great for our needs. The property was very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. I never thought to check if there was internet. There was not. We couldn't figure out the tv. Lots of knats. Our stay was great though.

Listing not completely accurate

We selected this property for the advertised features (the number of bedrooms, fire pit, grill, and location to name a few). The inside had been updated and was nice. All elements worked as they should. However, the exterior siding was dirty with spider webs. My wife, daughter and I took the hose and washed off the deck, the chairs and front siding. In addition, the property had not been mowed in quite some time. We pulled weeds out from the steps. There was a large box of trash on the deck. There was two grills on-site but neither of them were operable. There was NO fire pit. Both of these features forced us to change our meal plans. Perhaps the biggest issue was the sliding door off the kitchen did not lock. We reached out to the property owner about this security issue and they informed us that we were to use a piece of PVC pipe to lodge into the sliding track. This was the "lock" and had no idea that this was what we were supposed to do to keep the door secure. The owner said that they were aware of the broken lock and that they had a repairman scheduled which means they were clearly aware of the issue and failed to disclose this prior to our arrival. I suggested they needed to find another locksmith ASAP because the one that they are working with isn't working. Security should not have been a concern with any property. It should be the top priority. The property manager did communicate with us.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback and letting others know the inside of the property was spotless. We have always received 4-5 stars from our reviews. We take pride in the inside and outside of our rental home. The exterior had just been mowed and there was a large storm that prevented our landscapers from getting it all done. We apologized multiple times. The sliding door works and we tried explaining an alternative solution. There were no other issues with the property as ALL other reviews have shown. Please beware of renting to this couple. They are clearly looking for any type of refund, and will not be happy no matter what you offer!

Description was spot on and it was very clean inside (the patio could have been blown or swept off and furniture clean enough to use would be my only "complaint".) But overall great stay.Host was very accommodating and easy to work with. Close to Bridges Bay and Amusement Park.
