Looking to escape from everyday life? This barrier island retreat is the perfect getaway. Enjoy seclusion and peacefulness while taking in views of the Gulf of Mexico. Private ferry access allows you the opportunity to head to the mainland when you feel the need. Placida Beach is a small enclave of 30 condos situated along the Gulf & Intracoastal on Little Gasparilla Island. Beautiful sunsets, great shelling, and swim with the dolphins and manatees. A great way to unplug and away from the rat race.

It wasn’t a complete view of the beach but the gulf could be seen from both back patios past the last condo unit. Family enjoyed the pool and the beach was very quiet and beautiful.

Great location

Placida is the perfect place to get away from the traditional trappings of a vacation. The beach is not crowded and the sunsets are spectacular! Owners were very responsive and the other residents were incredibly welcoming. I plan to return next year.

Nice Little Condo

Condo was great. Area was great. Owner even refunded one night due to unforeseen circumstances. Overall very nice experience.

Our special island

We loved being close to ocean hearing the waves. We were so happy to get a condo to get back and see how the island had gotten through the hurricane🙏 We’ve been returning more than 30 years so we have tons of fabulous memories♥️ Hopefully can come again next year😀

Perfect Escape

This place was absolutely adorable and perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It was quite and relaxing. The unit had everything that we needed! Highly Recommend!

Peaceful stay on beautiful Little Gasparilla Island…

Enjoyed our stay at Placida Beach Club. The condo was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beautiful partial views of the ocean from the bedroom and living room was a plus! The condo had everything we needed to make our stay. The Placida Beach Club is a very clean, quiet place to stay. It had easy access to the beach via boardwalk where you can take relaxing walks, collect seashells, view beautiful sunsets and watch dolphins swim by. The island is a must if you are seeking to get away from it all….

A Quiet Getaway

We really enjoyed our time on this beautiful Island! This condo supplied us with all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable. The place was clean and the kitchen had plenty of utensils to cook like you were home. My only suggestion is to invest in getting better comfortable sleeping pillows or bring your own. The sounds of the ocean and the breeze were AMAZING. A great quiet getaway!

very clean

The condo itself was very clean and in a good location. My only downsides were that trash bags weren't provided and there were a few kitchen items missing. Additionally, during our stay, we heard a lot of noise from the condos around us (a lot of Contruction doors, windows replaced). including drilling noise in the mornings, which was a bit annoying. however, we loved the area and the whole community. I would come back again for sure.

Peace and quiet!

Gasparilla Island is an awesome place to spend a weekend or the rest of your life! The condo is beautiful and well stocked. The endless beach, beautiful sunsets and clean pool are all that you would hope for! The only comment I would make is the Ferry is a passenger Ferry and not a car ferry which I assumed (my mistake) so you do have to leave your vehicle on the mainland and transport all your luggage and supplies onto the ferry. You are also at the mercy of the weather with the ferry also. All in all it was a fabulous 6 days and would definitely do it again!
