We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in our home and to hear of the highlights of your trip. Arizona has a lot to offer guests, 4 wheeling on the many trails is something alot of people cannot take advantage of unless they know the area and the trails. Being out in the desert with all the cacti and beautiful flowers blooming in the spring of the year is just awesome. There are trail guides & 4 wheeler rentals available in Florence, which is just 15 miles from Johnson Ranch, if you do not have a 4 wheeler or want a guide for the day. Golfing at many of the area golf courses is a day to day sport for golfers in mind. San Tan Flat is a great place to eat, come "early" for great food especially the ribs! If the ribs are gone, their menu has many other entrees. The margarita's are very tasty, they have their secret recipe. You should try one! Mesa has theaters and plays to attend for an enjoyable evening out, "The Duttson Family" musical is very professional & entertaining by all the members of their family, from 3 years of age to the parents of this family. The mothers story of how all this started is she sent them to music lessons for discipline as their family was close in age and kept growing. Of course with music lessons comes a musical family of some type, a must see, if you have the time. Our guests can enjoy the backyard for games, relaxation around a campfire and roasting hot dogs or marshmellows, or just sitting in the hot tub under the stars after a warm day in Arizona. We want our guests to have the feeling of being home away from home, as our home is their home. Hope to have you back again soon, bring others along to enjoy sunny Arizona, desert adventures, day trips and capture memories for a lifetime.

In response to your review, the bee infestation in the attic was something we had no control over. The bee removing company explained that bees do move in homes where there is not much activity in the warmer months of the year in Arizona. When we were informed of the bee infestation in the attic we acted immediately to find personnel in this profession to remove the bees from the home as soon as he could. He was very responsive to our request and at a great expense. The dogs barking at night in the neighborhood is not our problem, when we have visited the home the dogs would not be barking non-stop as the renter indicated maybe once in awhile a dog would bark and another dog would hear it and bark back, but we never have seen this as a problem. When our house manager and housekeepers report to us the excess dirt, grime and finger marks on the walls and furniture around the home from small children, marker, paint or crayon usage by children that is visible and the extra hours of cleaning, washing walls, and floors we need to pay them for their extra time in cleaning and getting the home ready for the next people, so therefore we deducted the extra cleaning time money from their damage deposit. When we visited the home I myself found marker or crayon marks on the floor and had to scrub them off. Dish breakage is always possible in a home suggestion would be to leave a note if something was broke. When renting a home you should always look to see where the location of the home is for your vacation experience, if it is not convenient then a suggestion is to look for a home closer to your destination. Our home is out of Phoenix about 45 minutes, and we enjoy being away from the big city, all the busy roads, traffic, and people. We want to be out where it is quiet, a few miles from the mountains for recreation, hiking, and just enjoying the quiet life. We have rented many vacation homes we always made sure the home was left neat and clean, the excess dirt from living in a home for a week or more was cleaned up before we left. We wish you as a renter would have expressed your comments personally rather than reviewing our home two months after you have left. We have a very nice home in Arizona and have had many positive comments in our travel journal in our home and emails of all the fun others had while visiting our home, touring around, and wanting to come back again. We apologize for your inconvenience you experienced while staying at our home.
