Welcome to the Ames Escape by Epic Stays. You'll enjoy easy access to everything, including walking distance to restaurants and bars. Main Street shopping and world-class dining is just a few blocks away and Iowa State University is 1.5 miles away. Enjoy roasting marshmallows on the oversized fire pit, home cooked meals or epic movies on the big screens. You'll notice the attention to details in all of our properties, that's the Epic Stays difference. Welcome home to the Ames Escape.

For guest safety we do have survelliance cameras on the front and rear of all of our properties. Footage is only reviewed if there is a valid concern.

Great stay

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend in October. Interior is tastefully updated with some nice personal vintage touches. Back yard with firepit is a great spot... we hung out there all 3 nights we stayed. I recommend this property. We will stay here again.

Visited family in Ames

We loved our stay in Ames! This home was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Checking in was smooth and easy. The neighborhood was quiet but close to many stores and restaurants. Communication with the property manager was excellent! We’ll likely return for another stay soon!

Convenient location, great for the family

Thank you for a nice spot for our family to stay while in town. The location was convenient but this Ames townie would not call the location "downtown." ;-) Even so, it was a great spot that accommodated our family well and we were even able to enjoy a nice fire in the firepit. Thanks!

Beautiful

This is a beautiful home. Never a need for things we needed..except our own food Only bad thing was the steep stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom & living area But we are in our upper 60’s so there’s that Otherwise perfect stay..thank you!

One of my favorites!!

This home is top-notch. The location is great - my teens walked to coffee and restaurants. The home is very comfortable and immaculate. We had everything we needed, and there were lots of great extras that I usually have to buy - dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, Q-tips, body wash…. We LOVED staying here and will be back. Also they always respond immediately to questions.

Great Location!

Great Location, near all local restaurants and most of all it is set up to RELAX in the back yard that is private and accommodating for you to enjoy in a quiet neighborhood.

Great Stay

Met up with my cousins and some friends from around the globe and we all loved the place. Rooms were nice and backyard was perfect for hanging out. Only thing that would have made it better is more than 1 bathroom. With three bedrooms this was tough to balance showers and bathroom breaks. But otherwise, awesome place.
