I've traveled around the world (a few times), but always come back home to Memphis!

Quite a few passions have my attention: marketing, meeting new people, photography, design, supporting local businesses, as well as spending time with my husband, a fellow Rhodes College alum, and daughter — so hosting lets me combine all these activities into one amazing opportunity!

With 1,762 sq feet of exceptional comfort and impeccable decor, Hotel Joelle Cooper-Young is the perfect place to call home while you’re visiting Memphis. Built in 1921, this beautiful house has 10-foot ceilings and a layout that offers guests a surprising amount of space. While the kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2022, the original floors remain, adding considerable charm and character to this one-of-a-kind property.

You’ll have plenty of room to stretch out and sleep soundly with cushy king beds in each bedroom. Both rooms also have noise machines, fans, and cell phone chargers for your convenience. Feeling tired or stressed out after traveling? Let the luxurious zero-entry shower wash your cares away as you enjoy the modern bathroom with deluxe double vanity!

The carefully considered decor of Hotel Joelle perfectly matches the personality of this Midtown district. You’ll feel right at home in the bright kitchen, which has been recently renovated and comes with all new appliances. Kick back and relax in the living room on the cozy leather sofa, or get a little work done at the dedicated workspace we’ve provided. This property also offers guests the opportunity to enjoy epic Memphis sunsets thanks to the front porch, back porch, AND a separate screened-in back porch!

Every Hotel Joelle property provides guests with all the comforts of home away from home. The laundry area at this location comes equipped with a new washer and dryer along with an iron and ironing board. You’ll find pods and dryer sheets in the kitchen closet, so you’re covered for any laundry emergency without having to run to the store. The pantry is also stocked with almost anything you could need during your stay, so be sure to check it out on arrival.

For an additional $100 fee, your furry friends are welcome to join you (max: 2).

Guests of Hotel Joelle Cooper-Young have free rein of the house, so you’ll enjoy plenty of peace and quiet throughout your visit. While there’s ample street parking available, there are also two reserved parking spots in the driveway. There is a Nest doorbell covering the front porch and a Nest camera surveilling the parking area, although you should still engage in smart safety measures by locking your car and each door to the house.

The hosts live right around the corner, so they can pop by any time if there’s something you need. There are friendly full-time neighbors on both sides of the property, so please be considerate of their experience living next door to an Airbnb during your stay. Self-check-in is operated via a Nest smart lock—no human interaction is required!

Hotel Joelle Cooper-Young loves animals and is a pet-friendly property. You’re welcome to bring up to two furry friends with you for an additional $100 fee per stay. We enjoy spoiling our four-legged guests with a treat from our local dog bakery on arrival, so be sure to let us know if you’re planning to bring your pet or service animal! Giving us advance notice is also important since it allows us to schedule a deep cleaning after your stay. The private backyard is fully fenced to give your pups plenty of safe space to run around in, and a pet waste station has been installed to help keep things clean.
