Floor-to-ceiling windows frame unobstructed panoramic views of the lake and Derp Creek State Park from the main level’s open-concept great room. Whether you’re gathered around the dining table, cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, or relaxing by the wood-burning fireplace, the lake is always the backdrop. A second fireplace anchors the lower-level game room, making it the perfect retreat on cool mountain evenings. Firewood is provided for both.
Slide open the doors and step onto the wraparound deck — one of the best lake views on Deep Creek — where an 8-person outdoor dining table, a gas grill, and a Blackstone griddle make outdoor cooking and entertaining effortless.

THE LAKE EXPERIENCE
The level, walk-out backyard leads straight to your private dock, complete with a water seat, ladder, and cleats on both sides. A stone fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs is the natural gathering spot for evenings under the stars.
The lower-level game room opens through two sets of sliding glass doors directly to the backyard and lake. Inside, enjoy a pool table and smart TV.
Step outside to the Sundance Aspen 880 hot tub — one of the brand’s largest non-lounge spas, comfortably seating 7–8 — positioned for an unobstructed view of the lake. There’s nothing quite like soaking under the open sky while snow falls over the water in winter. The dock is maintained Memorial Day through Labor Day (and often beyond, weather permitting).

Winter — Wisp Resort, Maryland’s only ski area, is just minutes away with downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and ice skating.
