It's always a pleasure to stay at Boxwood Cottage. The location is quiet, parking is easily available, and the neighborhood is safe and pleasant. In addition, Marti is a kind and attentive host.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a great place to come home too at the end of the day. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was supplied in the kitchen and also in the bathroom so there was nothing we needed to get. We will come back there again when we come back to Alameda.

The host was very friendly and accommodating helping us to connect to WiFi and to do laundry. The bed was comfortable and the shower was strong, but a bit tight. Great for a couple or single.

The place was ADORABLE!!!! It’s like something you would read about in a story. All of the furniture and decor were cultivated to make you feel cozy, peaceful, and happy. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, beautiful, and safe. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dining ware. The water pressure is superb. The only thing, I would say is if you’re taller than 6’3”, the ceilings are low and my husband just felt too tall. I would definitely book again if we are in town again.

The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. Great value! We stay here whenever we visit our son and his family in Oakland. Alameda is lovely and has quite a range of excellent restaurants and shops. We love this apartment and the location!

This is a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood where my wife and I have stayed several times. It's within walking distance of the beach, parks, and restaurants. The host is very responsive and helpful. There is always street parking either right in front of the unit, or within a block. We're already looking forward to another visit.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you need. Ideal for two people, gorgeous rear outdoor space though we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Plenty of street parking. Marty the owner who lives upstairs is a wonderful host, brought us extra toiletries. Very clean in a lovely neighborhood.

Marti is the perfect host. We very much enjoyed our stay in her garden apartment. The apartment is charming, clean and well equipped. The location is in a beautiful Alameda neighborhood with parks, beach and entertainment within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again!

What an absolutely relaxing little holiday. The place was sweet and it reminded me of the perfect apartment you would want right out of college; and the furnishings were bespoke. Marty was a fantastic hostess, and I was sad to leave. In fact, I tried to extend it and some wise guy had already rented it! I will return. Thank you so much Marty for your lovely home.

Wonderful stay! The place is super clean and very well appointed. I would stay here again! There were so many thoughtful touches, and the location was amazing - and there were no issues parking right out front. Great neighborhood and wonderful host. When we travel back, we would pick this place first.

Nice garden apartment in a quiet neighborhood close to many stores, restaurants and walking along the beach. Host lives in house and available for any issues but not intrusive. Lots of storage for clothing etc for a comfortable 5 day stay. Easy safe parking on street in front of the home. Will stay again

This was our third stay in this charming and comfortable place in Alameda. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is near the beach and parks. The shopping and restaurant area along Webster Street is an easy 15 minute walk away. Marti, the host, is very responsive and helpful. We're already looking forward to another visit.
