Lake house

This was the perfect get away home! Quiet and relaxing and the view of the lake phenomenal! We loved the vintage decor and enjoyed looking everything. Bob and Maureen are gracious hosts and very responsive to our needs.

Relaxing and fun!

Bob & Maureen were terrific communicators and made our planning easy. Fun & interesting cottage right on the water. Large kitchen w/ new appliances, big table for dining and game playing. Cozy living room and reading space. Comfy beds and plenty of blankets for our winter stay. Place just has a lot of character! My friends and I would definitely book again!

A true cottage on the lake.

Walk back in time to this charming cottage on the lake. Beautiful knotty pine walls, comfortablely furnished, with a welcoming kitchen. The cottage is located at the end of the lane offering solitude and privacy. Outside, the boat house offers a great view of the lake and where we spent most of our time. Conveniently located to town for grocery runs, but the Bob and Maureen were easy to communicate with and and welcomed us to their paradise. We will be back!! Thank you

Great Stay on the Lake

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with two lovely outdoor areas overlooking the water. The house was well appointed. I would definitely return to make more memories.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a beautiful time! The view of the lake is stunning, the cabin is themed so cute! We had a perfect family weekend getaway! Can’t wait to go back! Thanks Bob and Maureen, they were so kind and helpful! Also, great bluegill fishing off the dock!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time on the lake! The views from the outside patio were amazing. Loved watching all the boats! Bob was an amazing host. He was easy to contact and full of information for things to do around the area. Thanks again for a great stay!

Excellent experience

Bob was very communicative and provided local information The home is very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the covered deck, which is perfect. Good swimming off the dock and awesome sunrise

Girls Getaway Weekend Trip

3 of us ladies needed a getaway for the weekend to just enjoy ourselves and that we did. We checked in unloaded went to the grocery store cooked dinner had a cocktail or 2 . Saturday we visited Indiana Beach and had dinner at Riverside which I highly recommend. Sunday we visited local wineries and went hiking in Delphi. Monday we went to antique shops thrift shops and country stores. All in all it was more then we ever hoped for.

Cozy house, great location, wonderful deck, easy lake access.

Perfect for our group of 4 adults, one teenager, and one infant. Quiet, cozy, wall provisioned, and homey.

Great trip! Three generations fish!

We loved our stay! From grandpa (78) to grandson (11), everyone had fun!! Great Lake access and outside shower/toilet. Inside the cabin is so cute with lots of fun things to admire!

A wonderful time!

The cottage is so peaceful and lovely. My family had a wonderful weekend of relaxation, fishing and local fun. Communication from Bob was stellar. The place is a gem in the twin lakes area. We highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing and Cozy Cottage

This property looked exactly as it appeared on the listing. It was perfect, right on the lake and had everything we could possibly need or want. We really liked the place and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and destress.

So peaceful!!

When they say it is “quiet” they are not exaggerating! Amazingly peaceful!! Clean and wonderfully decorated cottage! So much character!! When we were not fishing off the dock, we were looking at all of the memorabilia around the cottage. I actually say the first night and read a book from their collection. We brought our food, fishing poles and smiles (like Bob said) and he wasn’t wrong! Great place to unplug, relax and just enjoy the quiet and beautiful view of the lake!! Bob and Maureen were amazing to us! Up front and honest and if we needed anything (which we didn’t), they were a phone call or text message away. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cottage!

Perfection

After months of staying home due to the pandemic, we were more than eager to venture out for a change of scenery for our birthdays. We were looking for a place to enjoy the water and the outdoors. After a very warm summer, the week we arrived the weather turned cold forcing us indoors. The wonderful surprise was that the cabin was perfect for an indoor retreat too. There were so many books, games, and other activities to keep us quite entertained. The picture window provided a great place to feel like we were right on the water while we were drinking our coffee or quietly reading. The kitchen was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. It was pure perfection!!

Excellent Experience

Our stay here in early October was far more then we expected. We needed a place to stay with our dog while helping family in the area but we ended up loving everything about the place. The property was perfect for our needs and provided us with a safe place for our dog and a beautiful setting with breathtaking views for us. The house itself was clean, well stocked and full of beautiful interesting decor. We will definitely be back!!

Adorable cottage

It was most relaxing couple of days. Wish it was longer! It's beautiful inside and outside. Large, fully stocked kitchen, unique furnishing, books and traditional American art collection. But most of all little terrace on top of boat house. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Bob and Maureen!

Filthy dirty home!

Bob's business practices are deceptive and the overview of this property is not what it appears. The home was not clean, cobwebs everywhere, it has awful smelling well water, no TV or internet access, dirty dishes were in the kitchen cabinets, feral cats all over the place having babies on the front porch, you have to pay for beach access. We were even accused of stealing the old ratty towels provided! I DO NOT recommend staying here.
