Being last minute road trip travelers, we just needed a place to crash for the night while in the area, but wished we could’ve stayed longer and utilized all the cottage had to offer.

We had a lovely stay. This property was beautiful. Little touches like the books, games, and piano available inside the property made this stay even more memorable. David was a attentive host and a good communicator.

Amazing. Dave is very good at hosting and had everything explained super clearly! If I'm ever in central VT again, I will have to stay here. The story about his cat and the homebuilding process was really touching. Hope he has another great autumn.

Such a lovely place to stay. I loved playing the gorgeous piano! David was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I was on a work trip so my stay was short but when I come back to the area again, I will stay here

Overall, the place was quite inviting and very clean. In terms of sleeping arrangements, the mattress upstairs was very comfortable. I truly only used this property as sleeping accommodations for my annual weeklong family reunion at Branbury State Park as I am no longer able to camp for health reasons. It was a bit further than I would’ve liked to have driven daily to get to the state park. The drive was about 12-15 minutes. I think it is worth mentioning that the property is extremely close to the owner’s home; within a stone’s throw just for those who might want more privacy.

Attention MIDD parents, if you're struggling to get accommodations relatively nearby campus, this is a great find. Just 15 mins down Route 7, the place is really cool. Clean, well-furnished with old-school touches in a cabiny way. Very pleasant and the owner David makes the experience simple and seamless.
