Pacific Shores Resort - Snowbird Opportunity - 2 Beds & 2 Baths - Oceanfront!

This top-floor air conditioned unit comes with a 2 bedroom (king size beds), 1 queen & 1 twin sofa beds, 2 bathrooms (soaker tubs), walk-in shower, fully-equipped kitchen, large dining table, 55" smart tv, private decks, in-suite laundry and the B Unit has a coffee station (no sink). Conveniently located right on Craig Bay - ocean front property. Seasonal water sports available (kayaks, paddle boards & bikes), Pickleball courts, indoor pool and indoor and outdoor hot tubs! Perfect for a couples getaway, family gathering to just reconnect with nature and recharge!!! Many trails available right outside your door.

Unfortunately, due to health reasons, the owner of the onsite restaurant is closing permanently on March 15, 2026. The resort is trying to get another restaurant in asap but no further details are available at this time. A full-service spa called Pacific Shores Wellness Spa - 250-468-2404 and there is also Pacific Motion Physiotherapy - 250-585-6633. There all located in the main building to the right as your drive in. Same building as the pool, hot tub and gym.

This unit is a short drive to:

- Parksville - 7 minutes
- Nanaimo - 20 minutes
- Qualicum - 18 minutes
- French Creek - 16 minutes
- Tofino - 2.5 hours

Lots of beautiful shops within a short drive away, several lakes, lots of hikes or just grab a beach chair and enjoy the quiet location just outside your door. Pacific Shores is a private resort and that means small numbers of people at your private beach. Explore the tidal pools with the family. Walk during low tide and explore what the Salish Sea has to offer.

I am always interested in snowbirds too during our winter months. So if this is something that interests you, please contact me anytime. Big discounts during my off-season and what a beautiful location to explore the Island and mild climate. Don't need all this space, lock the connecting door and just take the one bedroom. I am always here to work with your needs. Guests coming, just rent the B unit and open up the space back up to the two bedroom, two bathroom. Our cleaners come in take care of the cleaning, laundry and lock the connecting doors back up and you enjoy your unit with no stress.

There are lots of extra parking under the pickleball courts and also a gravel lot if you have an extra height vehicle as well.

Had a family reunion. Nanoose Bay is lovely. Lots to do here. The Pacific Shores Resort exceeded our expectations. The resort is right on the ocean with beautiful walking trails and beach walks. Lots of birds and flowers. We loved playing pickelball, hitting the pool and then sauna and finally the outdoor hot tub. Kim was an excellent host and the units were very clean, with all the cooking amenities you need. Really nice view of the estuary from the balcony. Beds were very comfy. Everything you could want to set u up for a fabulous holiday. VERY highly recommended!!

My family and I had a great time during our stay at Kim's place over Spring Break. The view and proximity of the ocean was breathtaking. Stellar view! Beautiful & functional condo.

This property met all our expectations - beautifully furnished, luxury bedding, fully stocked with kitchen appliances, etc. The host is super responsive and friendly. But nothing beats the view over the creek and bay: around the summer solstice, sunsets go on for hours. We hope to return someday soon!

This property on Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island, was perfect for us, 4 seniors. Hiking trails, paddleball, nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs. Apartment clean, bright and extremely well appointed. Close enough to restaurants and sand beaches. We would gladly stay here again.

This was the perfect location for our week-long visit to connect with family who live nearby, and Kim is a delightful, welcoming host! We had plenty of room, appreciated the well appointed kitchen, washer & dryer, comfy beds, and of course the view is gorgeous! We also enjoyed the easy trails around the property, the pool and hot tub nearby, and the other amenities in the complex. We happened to be there during a week of hot weather, and the AC units in the living room and bedroom kept us comfortable during hot afternoons. The complex is quiet and only a 15 minute drive to Parksville for activities and shopping. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful piece of paradise

We had an amazing time here. The property has many thoughtful things that made our stay comfortable. The view and atmosphere are both stunning and relaxing. This property has air conditioning which was very appreciated. And the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The property owner was very responsive to our needs and extremely easy to get a hold of if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pacific Shores. The suite was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We were surprised when we walked in at how beautiful the view was and how bright the suite was. Communication with Kim was excellent. Our kids loved the outdoor pool and park as well as the indoor pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely condo and adjacent room

I would definitely stay here again. The property is lovely and just close enough to Parkville to be convenient, yet not in Resort Drive, which seemed busy. The air conditioning was a holiday saver! Worth the extra money as we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely patio and well appointed kitchen. Teenagers enjoyed paddle boarding and the indoor pool. Host was very responsive to inquiries.

Peaceful getaway

We stayed for two nights and had a lovely time! When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious suite! Rarely is a place better in real life than in photos, but it certainly was the case this time with plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 kids. We didn’t get a chance to utilize all of the amenities on the property, but we did walk around to see them and used the pool area a couple of times during our short stay. We loved being so close to the ocean, it was lovely to walk down in the evening. The water is so peaceful. Will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to parksville!

A quiet getaway

My partner and I had a very nice stay renting Kim's place. It was quite quiet since we stayed immediately after school resumed. We used the suite as a base to explore the surrounding area, so cannot comment at all about the associated facilities, which I can only presume are very good. The rental itself is much like a small hotel room with an electric fireplace and added dishes. The only minor setback was the expectation to use the washroom for "kitchen" cleanup. In all, this this setup was perfect for our needs and is recommended.

Perfect Family Escape

My family of five-two adults and 3 kids ages 17,14, and 10-stayed there for two nights and one day when we never left the resort property. It was a perfect escape! The units had everything we needed for home cooked meals and comfort. Kim was very responsive and got back to us within a few minutes for any question. The balcony allowed a view over the creek, which was lovely. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the adults enjoyed the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Our youngest was happy to borrow a basketball and play on the grounds. Right behind the unit is a path. If you go left you quickly reach a BC receeation area, with trees and woods that get you to the beach on the other side of the creek. This beach can also be reached at low tide without walking the trail. To the right of the path leads you to a beautiful outlook point for Nanoose Bay. During low tide you can walk out on the beach pretty far and explore tidal pools and observe critters. The kids did this while the adults watched them abd idled in the gazebo with books and staring at the view. The true highlight was at night at this spot where we were treated to the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen, with swirls of deep blues, purples, and pinks over the water, mountains and trees. All told: Wonderful! Cautions: (1)You can only borrow a paddleboat or kayak within 2 hrs of high tide. We missed the early morning window and the office closed before the evening one (2) the unit takes a little while to cool down.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay and would not book this property again.The unit is one of the furthest from both the beach and the pool, which made it very inconvenient, especially traveling with two young children. Getting to the fourth floor involves a long walk, and the traffic downstairs made getting around with kids feel less safe and convenient than we expected from a resort-style property.The quality and condition of several items in the unit were also disappointing. The stove did not work properly, and the sofa bed was in poor condition and very uncomfortable for sleeping. Overall, the furnishings and household items felt quite cheap compared with what we expected for the price.The biggest issue, however, was the cleaning charge. We already paid a 230 cleaning fee with the booking. Before leaving, we put our garbage into bags and left the property in reasonably clean condition. We did not have time to thoroughly clean the unit ourselves, but given the substantial cleaning fee, we did not expect to be responsible for doing a full cleaning.Despite this, the owner requested an additional 100 for a “mess”/cleaning fee. We found this very unreasonable, especially on top of the 230 cleaning fee already charged. Guests should not be expected to pay a significant professional cleaning fee and then be charged another 100 simply because the property was not left thoroughly cleaned.Between the inconvenient location, condition of the unit, and

It was very disrespectful for your family to treat my unit that way.  Did you think the cleaning fee entitled you to leave the unit in such a mess?  The photos I submitted on the platform justified the extra charge and then some.  I gave you a very poor rating and could not in good conscience recommend to my fellow hosts that they host you ever again.That sofa you are referring to is brand new and yours was the second family to use it.  Lashing out doesn't justify treating someone else's property this way.

This property consists of an A Unit - 1 bedroom complete with king size bed, 5 piece ensuite (large soaker tub), vanity, 40" smart tv and stand-up work space with private entrance to the deck. Fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, 58" smart tv with Apple TV, full-size laundry, private deck, queen sofa and gas fireplace. Adjoining B Unit Studio has a king size bed, ensuite (large soaker tub), twin sofa bed, 40" smart tv with Apple TV and coffee station (no sink) that has plates, cutlery, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge and many more extras!

A nature lovers dream, Craig Creek Community Trail right outside the door - lots of birding in the estuary as well as hiking at your fingertips or just grab a drink and enjoy the sunset at the Rock Point with the gas fire tables. This ocean front location is perfect for a couples getaway or family looking to recharge and reconnect.

Add the full services of Pacific Shores Resort that is included in your fee and you'll have lots to do and explore! Indoor pool, whirlpool, and fitness facility. Please note that the pool is closed on Mondays for servicing.

BC Governments crack down on short-term rental makes my property within the resort a perfect rental - it's commercial zoned and you're renting the entire space, not in someone's house.
