Private location on island time

Hidden oasis, Secluded 1 bedroom apartment set amongst the Royal Palms and Mango Trees. Private entrance. Plenty of room for your boat trailer with a boat ramp nearby for access to some of the best fishing in SW Florida.
Bike path, Kayaking, Fishing pier close by. Public heated pool and tennis courts on the island.
Pine Island is known for its tropical fruit farms and Palm Tree farms as well as the great fishing.


Fully equipped kitchen as well as a gas bbq so you can cook here or dine out in one of our local restaurants.
We are close to the barrier islands and Ferry's who do day trips to Cayo Costa State Park and Cabbage Key, with beautiful beaches.
No red lights on the island, but we do have supermarkets, drug store, banks etc for all your basic needs.

Emil and partner are great guest.I did not see them a lot.But when I did,it was obvious.They are wonderful people.I hope they return for a longer stay,sometime

Well the apartment itself was fine, it was clean, inside. However the VRBO site stated that there was a heated pool and washer and dryer. I chose this site because I thought the heated pool would be great for my health issues. There was no pool! When I packed, I only packed 3 days worth of clothes, because again there was suppose to be a washer and dryer. We could hear EVERYTHING that was going on both next door and up stairs. But I could heard their dryer going off, while I was trying to sleep. I realize that there is usually noise, but we could hear them coughing also. The television was a smart TV, however there was no cable. We had to sign up for a Roku account, which we don't need at home.The outside was terrible, the site mentioned "watch the wildlife," I seen one rabbit and heard a woodpecker. The outdoor table had a bowl FULL of cigarette butts. The house attached to the apartment looked like a bomb had went off. There was trash, broken down vehicles, and a tent in the year. It looked like someone had hurried up and clean the year up, by using a brush hog. The trees by the sidewalk had just been cut. We could tell the way they looked. The porch light did not work.We had no control over the temperature,there was no thermostat. During the day it was fine, but at night we were hot. The fan in the bedroom was missing a screw, therefore we were afraid to use it. I do have photos if you would like to see them.

Nightmare

Got there late. Link to key led no where. Unable to contact host. Wouldn’t have stayed anyway. Place was a dump. Took pictures next day

Gardening, fishing , bee keeping, dog training, scuba diving just to name a few. I owned and ran a paint contracting business for 25 years in Pennsylvania and I also am a patented inventor.
