Kealia 302 offers beachfront living right on Sugar Beach! Others may claim to be beachfront but this is the real deal. As soon as you walk into the condo, you feel like you're on the beach - it's that close! The view is there in every room and the beach is just a few steps away.

Sugar Beach is known as the best walking beach on Maui. You can walk for miles and enjoy tidepools, ghost crabs and even some sea turtles who like to swim in these waters. And after a full day of sightseeing, shopping or other activities, you can fall asleep to the gentle sound of the surf. It's the best sound machine in the world!

Stunning beach and ocean views await you from every room. The condo has been remodeled, with striking wood flooring throughout, granite counters, and a tiled bath and shower. And with a washer and dryer in the unit you don't have to bring as many clothes!

The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to prepare and serve a nice meal and there's a BBQ area near the pool for grilling. You can enjoy your meals at the counter inside but why do that when you can dine on the lanai and enjoy the beach and sunsets? There's always something happening on the water!

The sparkling pool is refreshing in the Maui weather, or you can enjoy the private lawn adjacent to the water. There are usually locals from the Kihei and Maui Canoe Clubs out paddling canoes in the mornings, they keep their boats right next door to Kealia! You can take a closer look at the canoes as you walk by on the beach.

The bedroom is a tranquil retreat with a king bed, reading alcove and even a small desk, all with that incredible beachfront view! For those who enjoy beach walking, Sugar Beach is the best on Maui, with miles of unobstructed beach along the edge of a bird refuge.

Need we say more?

A dedicated parking space adjacent to the building's elevator is included. For those who don't want to rent a car, there's an ABC Store, Sugar Beach Bakery and a local farmer's market within walking distance, as well as a bus stop for local transit.

And for golfers, the owner is a member of King Kamehameha Golf Club and can arrange for you to golf on this private course for an affordable guest fee. Just contact the owner to make arrangements.

Great quiet location with easy access and parking. This condo has an incredible view of the ocean and is steps from Sugar Beach that we walked 4-5 miles each day. Property is well maintained with everything we needed for our relaxing stay in Maui. The location is easy access to all parts of the island by car. We’d stay here again!

Good access to beach. Screen door to lanai fell off track and was hard to open and close. Experienced bugs inside unit. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was good. Parking was good locale to unit and elevator.

We had a wonderful stay for the second year. The condo is perfect for 2 people. The deck has a specular view of the beach, pool and ocean. The condo is always clean and well stocked. The grounds are always well kept up and the people are nice.

Choose a different host. When Hurricane Lowell — a Category 4 storm — made a sudden turn toward the Hawaiian Islands 12 hours before our flight from the mainland, we asked the hosts to work with us. Not a demand for a refund — we would gladly have rebooked or accepted a credit. Their response: there was "no travel advisory," they and other guests had ridden out storms at the condo, there were battery-powered lanterns and a portable charger, and "Maui is a beautiful place governed by Mother Nature!"What actually happened: the National Weather Service issued a High Surf Warning, Flood Watch, and Tropical Cyclone Statement, and the Governor of Hawaii declared a state of emergency. Lowell's surf damaged coastal roads and homes across Maui. North Kihei Road — the street this condo sits on — was damaged, with a sinkhole along the shoreline and crews alternating traffic for days. Kihei beach parks and nearby roads were closed. All of this is public record in local news coverage.We did not stay, because staying was not safe. The hosts kept our full payment and offered nothing — no rebooking, no credit, no flexibility — while downplaying a storm that state and federal authorities treated as an emergency.There are hundreds of places to stay in Kihei with hosts who will treat you like a person when circumstances beyond anyone's control arise. Based on how these hosts handled a declared state of emergency, this is not one of them.

This property was amazing. The pictures of the place and the view from the lanai are spot on. The parking is right out front by the elevator so easy access. We loved sitting on the lanai and having breakfast and just relaxing in the afternoons. A few of our favorite things was walking on the beach every day, watching the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves at night. We will definitely come back.

Amazing stay

Had an amazing time at this location. Location is super close to the airport. The place was super clean, and the beautiful sound of the ocean that you can so clearly hear is calming and relaxing. A must stay will be back for sure

As hosts, we work hard to please our guests during their stay. There are guests who will not be pleased, no matter the situation. This rating of 3-Stars is disappointing since it was noted that the guests' stay at Kealia 302 was "fantastic" and their "issues" were resolved. Note to future guests: The "issues" were found to be user-error and not issues with the condo itself. We have suggested to these particular guests that they find other accommodations for their next visit to Maui.

Great location!!

The unit was clean and had everything you’d need in the kitchen!! It’s feet from a beautiful sand beach that goes for miles. Centrally located if you want to explore the rest of Maui!

Perfect for us

The condo was perfect for the two of us. Had everything we needed, including beach chairs, cooler, and plenty of towels. The bed was very soft, and the proximity to the beach was ideal.

Older property but well maintained and loved the smaller size/seclusion these condos offer. Hosts were amazing and responsive to our needs. Overall we were very pleased.

Great view

We had a great time. Condo was very well stocked with all the necessities. The grounds and pool area were all clean and beautiful.The bed was comfortable and the sound of the waves breaking on the beach was relaxing. We hope to stay here again.

Sugar Beach Stay

Denise and Tony were great hosts. Their place was cozy and felt like home for the week. Definitely recommend getting in touch with Tony and booking a round at King Kamehameha - it was gorgeous! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Maui!

The condo provided everything the 2 of us needed. Quiet, ocean and beachfront without crowds of people. Message responses from owners was almost immediate. Would definitely stay here again.

AMAZING! We hope to come again!

Our stay was exceptional! The owners were incredibly helpful, and the place had a clean and charming Hawaiian ambiance. The beautiful view and lanai with amazing sunsets added a magical touch. The bed was comfortable, and the convenient, quiet location was a plus. The access to the King Kamehameha Golf Club, one of the most beautiful courses we've played, was a highlight. We truly enjoyed my time and hope to stay again. Highly recommended for a memorable Hawaiian getaway!
