Rustic details continue into the interior with real log beams and walls to create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The efficiently designed kitchen offers an abundance of cabinets made of rock maple and plenty of counter space. The spacious 2nd floor master has its own private covered deck; just right for enjoying a quiet morning cup of coffee before starting the day. Privately screened from the road by evergreens, a large backyard perfect for your activities, and a covered porch ideal for relaxing in at the chairs and table. Location to mountain is perfect. Lots of space and very comfortable rooms for sleeping and hanging out.

Clean and close to the lake

Rented Don’s house for a stay in sunapee and it was a really nice spot about 5 min from the docks in Newbury. Overall a great spot and would stay here again. Did look like there was a camera at least in the living roo area. Was mainly there to sleep so didn’t look around much more but other than that it was great

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay. There are motion, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors inside the house. There are no cameras.

Overall Good

Overall the stay was good. There was an issue with one of the toilets with not much of a resolution and the cleanliness of the place was not the best such as there were stains on the bedding.

We called the plumber once we heard from you. Unfortunately, he could not get there before your checkout on Sunday. He snaked it to clear whatever was put in there. The bedding is washed by us after every stay. We have always been told the house and bedding are spotless. We are not sure what this refers to.

We stayed for 2 weeks and wish we could have stayed longer! Plenty of space, peaceful, beautiful and felt like a second home! We stay in the area every year and wanted to stay closer to Lake Sunapee this year and it was perfect! We hope to be back next year!

We have no idea of any issues other than the one caused by the guest who left the stove on according to the Newbury, N.H. Fire Department according to their call log.
