We had a fabulous vacation in Muskoka at the Lakehaus!! This cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Well equipped with everything you could need, relaxing amenities and the most beautiful views. You will be in good hands with the caring owners.

Everything was really well thought out. Very clean. Well stocked. Lots of towels. Great spaces to relax in the shade or sun. Host was excellent. Neighbours are close but they are lovely and there is enough privacy. Lots of really nice touches that make it comfortable throughout the space! We really had a relaxing week!

Excellent property

We recently enjoyed our family Thanksgiving holiday at this stunning cottage. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Excellent quality and plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Very well laid out and excellent quality. We easily cooked our turkey with all the trimmings. We loved the sauna. Such a great treat in chilly Oct. The dock is beautiful and everything you need is there. We loved the wood fire pit. Communication with Sarah was easy she is extremely helpful and fast to respond. The check in book has plenty of information. Even has a 5k run route which we did. Thank you Sarah and family for your place. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect Stay!

We loved this cottage from the moment we arrived! It’s spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. The rooms are well laid out and stocked with everything guests may need during their stay. As ideal as the cottage is our favourite part was the dock and little beach on the property. The dock is large and has a variety of seating and was perfect for relaxing all day. We enjoyed using the canoe and various floaties that were available. We also borrowed the pickleball equipment and drove 5 minutes to the nearby pickleball court! The sauna is another amazing and unique feature of the property that we all loved. The host, Sarah, was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked the property, answering all our questions about nearby towns, restaurants and golf courses. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future!

Great property - amazing family getaway - awesome host!

We recently stayed at this cottage and it was absolutely stunning! The scenery is incredible and the cottage itself is just perfect, very clean and has all the amenities we needed for our stay including firewood. There was even an ooni pizza oven the kids loved and a newly installed sauna for the adults. Communication with Sarah was great she was quick to reply if we had any questions and Sarah and was so helpful in arranging a birthday cake, recommending restaurants and boat tour operators We would highly recommend this cottage and we look forward to coming back someday soon.

Highly recommend this Muskoka property

Myself and my wife wanted to book a getaway in Muskoka for the whole family for 4 nights in August. We found Sarah and Michael's cottage and had a wonderful time. The location was great and was just a few minutes drive from Gravenhurst. The updated cottage was very modern, clean, well stocked with almost anything you need, and included lots of toys for activities. I had to work for a few days while on vacation. The wifi was strong even while sitting on the dock and I had no problem finding a quiet space so I would not disturb the rest of the family. The outdoor amenities were our favourite part of the trip. We ate most meals on the large deck. The dock had great comfortable seating that made watching the sun rise a highlight of the trip. You can wade into the beautiful water from the shared beach or float around on the huge lily pad. We used the outdoor gas and wood fireplace for a few chilly nights. There were a few pests from the newly delivered firewood that made their way into the cottage but Sarah immediately addressed the situation. The sauna was just being installed so we did not get a chance to try it out but will next time we stay! Check-in and check-out was very smooth with no issues. Our host Sarah was very responsive, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure. All-in-all, we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a Muskoka vacation.

Great cottage and great location

We really enjoyed the cottage and location, with amazing views across the lake. It's easy to access from Gravenhurst and close enough to run into town for restaurants or groceries, Port Carling and Bala were a quick drive to visit. The cottage is recently redone to high standard and is bright and airy inside with beautiful sunrise views and the kitchen is well stocked. Water access from the small beach and dock was easy with a big area for swimming away from boat traffic, the water is warm and clean, we spent lots of time either in the water or on the dock. A small family of ducks even passed by a few times.
