The Delft Suite at Van Der Meijden Manor combines stylish furnishings with luxurious amenities and ensures a comfortable stay while you explore Virginia Hunt and Wine Country.

Originally built in the 1830's, Van Der Meijden Manor is located just 2 minutes from the heart of Middleburg VA - A historic town located in the heart of Virginia Hunt and Wine Country - known for its natural beauty, historic charm, locally sourced eateries and Southern hospitality.

With an ideal climate for cultivation, Middleburg, VA boasts more than 20 wineries within a 30 minute drive making it one of the top 10 wine destinations in the world. Local breweries, family farms and historic mills also abound.

Van Der Meijden Manor lies on Route 50 about 25 minutes from the nearest metro center and @ 50 min from Washington DC. Dulles Airport is around 30 min away and Reagan National airport is an hour away approximately.

Middleburg and the surrounding towns of Upperville, The Plains, Paris, and Marshall feature plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, stargazing and horseback riding at Sky Meadows State Park. A plethora of historic sites, museums, scenic vineyards and breweries as well as shopping and local restaurants are yours to be discovered. Only 40 Min away, Front Royal offers Shenandoah River activities like fishing, kayaking, canoeing and tubing. You can also book a luxurious spa day at the nearby Salamander Resort.

Please Note:
The Van Der Meijden Manor at consists of 4 separate units, each with their own private entrance. Each unit is completely closed off from one another for privacy and peace of mind. Unit #2 is the only short-term rental unit.

Parking is provided in the lot behind the Manor. We ask that you do not park in the Veterinarians parking lot next door. Follow the brick path up and to the white staircase on the right to access Unit #2 entrance.

The location of this adorable cottage can’t be beat! Just minutes (by car) to downtown Middleburg. It’s perfect for a couple.

Simply can't say enough how wonderful! The location was perfect, the Historical Manor unit was beautiful as depicted in the pictures, extremely comfortable I didn't want to leave, and dog friendly. Great location, cute unit

Very cute, with ample space for 2-3 people. The unit was not available an hour after check-in time and we reached out to VRBO for assistance; owner prepared it within an hour and kindly issued a partial credit. The location is terrific - a 2-minute drive to the shops, galleries, and dining in Middleburg. (The distance is walkable but there’s no path.) The second bedroom, a converted porch with gorgeous stone wall, faces the road; expect some road noise. Not ideal for those with mobility issues (it’s a second floor unit). As another reviewer said, some seating to enjoy the deck would be a great enhancement.

Kind of a misrepresentation with the address & pics. Had a side or back street address, but the bedrooms backed to a busy (even with just 2 lanes!) highway. Very noisy in the bedrooms. Electrical plugs on one side of the kitchen (including dishwasher) never worked. When we called, the owner was apologetic, but it was never resolved for us during our stay. It was a lovely, decorated space and we enjoyed the old feel to it. However, the beds were not comfy, and noisy in the room as previously stated.We were near the venue we were attending, so that was a perk. Finally, we lost air conditioning in the bedroom. It wouldn’t have been a typical game changer for us, except we were hot and done with it all, and left a day earlier than planned. It is a lovely old home, and the area is beautiful. We even saw fireflies, which isn’t something we see at home; that part was magical for us. I’ll just end with that!
