Head to the coast for some family-friendly fun! Originally built in 1964, The Lamplighter Inn is a classic roadside hideaway situated moments from the ocean on Highway 101.

This single-level, updated home includes a number of desirable features and amenities including a full, eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances plus an inviting living area with a TV ready to stream your favorite channels. Out back, enjoy the fenced yard complete with a private gas grill and a table and chairs for alfresco dining. This home also includes an electric fireplace and a convenient desk and chair in the primary bedroom as well as a private washer/dryer to help you stay on top of your laundry during your visit.

Your peaceful setting is only three-quarters of a mile from Old Town Bandon, with ten square blocks of local shops and restaurants along the Coquille River. Bandon’s famous beaches are within a two-mile drive, and serene hiking trails can be found just minutes away.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The location was central to a lot of conveniences. Our only complaint is that the unit was not clearly marked.

I would rate this 4 1/2 stars if that were possible. This was a great little house for a week on the beach. It had a kitchen, a laundry, a king bed and everything we needed. It was clear the owners are still working on it, so there were some little nits, but nothing serious.

Summer Family Vacation

Had a week stay and shared with another family member. The place was everything it advertised in the ad. Parking was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for the 6 of us during our week long vacation. We’d definitely stay again.

This property is not well maintained. I was disappointed with the linens, the furniture smells horrible, and it felt filthy dirty to me. It’s not because the cleaners didn’t do their job. It just needs new upgraded bedding - towels - and a thorough maintenance update and drop cleaning.

Not Clean

I’ve stayed at the Lamplighter Inn before and while it was a bit dated, it was clean. That was not the case this time. There were cobwebs and mysterious stains on the walls, pee on the toilet seat, and hair in the shower. Additionally, the shower did not drain and the towel rack fell off the wall while pulling a towel gently off of it. It was just bad. I reached out to Vacasa and provided pictures of the issues, but there was no follow up or resolution.

Great hideaway

Great accommodations & nicely priced!

Enjoyed our stay. Not fancy, but very comfortable, clean, well furnished and spacious. Will gladly book again if I travel to Bandon.

Vacasa Nope

We stayed in the "manager's residence" of a an old motel. We had a hard time finding the entrance to the residence. We had another guest asking us for check-in directions because they were looking for a hotel style check-in experience and the signage on the door was confusing. We found multiple hairs on the sheets and the residence had a musty smell. There was a viewport from the residence to the former lobby that was inadequately blocked off and we felt that it could be easily opened from the lobby side of the wall. There was no evidence of this happening, but the possibility was unsettling. After numerous Vacasa rental experiences, this will be our last stay using this management company.

Nice Space

Have spent time at the Lamplighter in all of it's incarnations. A lot of history here. We stayed in what was, at one time, the managers quarters. It was neat, tidy, will lit, and convenient to Bandon and the surrounding area. There's a small yard full of ornamentals, herbs and small trees; well fenced if you're travelling with your fur baby. Decent value for the money.Will definately come again.

Has all the basics.

We stayed here for our annual Bandon golf trip. The home has the basics you need to rest after an all day round. Could've been a bit cleaner but it was okay to stay.

Good amenities but noisy

I stayed in the room that allowed dogs. It had a cute yard in the back. Zero complaints about the inn itself but the noise from the road was annoying to say the least. Lots of bikers all three nights I was there.

A lot of traffic noise! We complained about the carpet being a tripping problem. They came out and fixed it immediately! Hard to use the lock with the code!

Quaint at the coast

This was a cute and charming place that is right off 101 so very easy to get to. Close to the beaches and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. Great price too.
