Centric to Canyon Lodge and The Village

Been staying in Mammoth for 35 years around canyon loop, The Village, in town and Snowcreek. Seen dozens of units over that time and can say without reservation this is one of the best units we have encountered. Newly updated, clean and functional, great location, and a check in process and staff that was superb(Thank you Angela).

Location, location, location. Super close to Canyon Lodge.

Location, location, location, just a 5 minute walk to Canyon lodge. Access to their ski locker at Canyon lodge is included (which came in handy when we had to store my kid's boots after we rented their snowboards and boots). There is an assigned parking spot for unit #85 which is covered so you won't have to remove any snow that accumulates on your vehicle. Free covered guest parking for your friend as well. The whole unit has been updated. Three bathrooms came in handy so that no one had to wait. The bathrooms have a nice heater that will keep you warm after you shower. The kitchen has everything you need (plates, silverware, mixing bowls, blender, toaster oven, rice cooker, waffle iron, you name it). There is a new propane fireplace that heats up the whole condo. The front door has keyless entry which is super convenient. High speed internet was nice since we had to work from "home." This unit was able to accommodate 2 families (total of 4 adults and 4 kids) comfortably. Another great trip to Mammoth. We plan to stay at Mountainback #85 again soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first family trip to Mammoth and this lovely condo gave us a "home away from home" experience. The location is amazing, just five minutes walk from the slopes at Canyon Lodge which comes with a locker to store your gear, and few more minutes away from the Village. The place was super cozy, spacious and clean with an amazing decor that gives you that chalet-style feel. The place was well equipped, kitchen had all the supplies and appliances, bathrooms had everything you need and more, laundry in unit, 3 spacious bedrooms with plenty of closet space and lots of extra pillows and blankets, each has it's own bathroom! The condo was warm and the couch super inviting after a whole skiing day, the fireplace in the living room calls for you to relax and watch the amazing mountain views or play games with your family (there were plenty in the living room sideboard). The covered parking spot and the keyless entry was very convenient for us and yes, there is super high speed internet and TV fully loaded with everything you need! This condo is great for skiing and year round! We had the best Spring break and that's because we stayed at Mountainback 85! We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're visiting Mammoth!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a spectacular Spring Break 2023 Mammoth vacation staying in the beautiful Mountainback 85 condo! Our family of 5, including 3 grown sons, enjoyed the spacious, clean, and well appointed unit. With convenient covered parking and direct access, unloading and loading was made easy and dry. The interior design blends classic-cabin-cozy with an updated traditional feel. We had lots of space for our family to relax — reading by the living room fireplace (with easy push button gas controls) or curling up on the TV den couch for a movie after a full day of skiing. The 3 bathrooms have showers and heaters that warm up quickly. The hot tub’s close proximity made for quick access to and from the condo wrapped in our towels. Kitchen has all you need, laundry machines in the unit, gorgeous views, internet access for work/school check-ins, and a 10 minute walk to Canyon Lodge which offers token lockers for overnight ski gear storage. We had dinner in every night and had all the cooking supplies at our fingertips. We can’t wait to come back to Mountainback 85!!
