The most impressive thing about this condo was the deck. It was huge! It wasn't particularly deep but it spanned the entire width of the condo. Both bedrooms and the living room opened out onto the deck through sliding glass doors. There were 2 patio tables on the deck, each with 4 chairs. It was a great place to watch sunrises and sunsets, and the occasional speed boat in the channel outside the cove where this condo was situated.
The description of this condo stated that there was a washing machine accessible but this turned out to be incorrect. There was no washer/dryer in the unit so we asked at the Lodge if they were available elsewhere in the complex. We were told NO - NOT UNLESS WE WERE MEMBERS. I'm sure the condo owner is a member but that was no help for us. We wanted to fluff some things in a dryer but that was not an option. The unit did have an iron and an ironing board, though, so that helped.
The kitchen was well appointed with appliances and utensils - microwave, coffee maker, blender, stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, knives, forks, spoons, dishes, bowls, pots, pans, measuring cups and spoons, and other cooking utensils. Cleanup was easy because all the dishwasher and other cleaning supplies were conveniently available either under the kitchen sink or in the hall closet between the master bedroom and the bath.
The living room was very comfortable with a sofa and love seat, a flat screen TV, and a DVD player (not sure if it was BluRay or not). The unit had cable but not a lot of cable stations, which was okay with us because we spent most of our time on the deck when we were at the condo. Each bedroom also had a TV - a flat screen in the master bedroom and a CRT television in the other bedroom. No wifi.
Neither of the beds were very comfortable. The master was a pedestal bed with a foam mattress that wasn't quite wide enough, so it slid around a bit on the platform. The bed in the other bedroom had a standard mattress and box spring. That bed was comfortable enough but it made a noise (a spring?) when you'd first lie down on it.
The view was of the lake and the dock below. It's a 1st-floor unit but the deck was elevated enough to be able to look over the covered dock below and out at the cove and the channel beyond it. The trees were in bloom on the hillsides across the lake. The weather was beautiful that week so, with the red buds and dogwood in bloom, it was the relaxing mini-getaway the two of us were looking for.
