Beautiful home

This 3 bedroom home was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need for your stay. The two bathrooms was a benefit for us. There is even a laundry area if you choose to do laundry. The view from the back deck is very nice as well. This house worked perfect for our family visit to see my son.

Small hiccup, quick resolution

Very clean and comfortable. AC in the rooms with sun exposure. Busy road but the back of the home has a nice deck facing a quiet alley. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. One of the best i’ve stayed in. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, pharmacy, liquor store… Although there was an issue with a broken door knob whick prevented us from getting in, it was quickly resolved . Good communication.

Spacious, got the job done with room to improve.

Overall was a nice stay. To be clear this is a duplex where the unit is the top floor of a house. The upstairs shower does not drain properly while you are showering the water pools. Also, the temperature of the water during the shower alternates from hot to cold multiple times throughout the entire shower. And lastly, there’s a little bit of black mold in the grout in the shower. We could not adjust the temperature of the house. It was really warm the whole time we were here. We were able to open the windows while it wasn’t raining but many of the windows did not have screens in. It would be nice to have four pillows on each bed rather than two and the beds were too soft for liking There was barely any lighting in the living room. The main light fixture, which was on the ceiling above the dining table, did not turn on. We asked the host about a solve he did not help us solve the problem. The rental does appear to be recently renovated new floors, relatively fresh paint, and trim, which we appreciated. The size of the place was wonderful both the kitchen and the living space was great to host our family for the holidays and for a holiday gathering. The kitchen was a great size. It could be stocked with more cooking supplies, there was no cutting board, and many of the cookware pans were not necessarily suitable for cooking, or seem to be rather really low in quality. Feel like with some word could be a great property.

This is not a single family home . There are permanent residents downstairs and the walls are paper thin . Additionally the two fireplaces do not work .This place is very tired . Missing lights in closets , bathrooms and kitchen . The towels in bathroom were old and between the four of us there was one old facecloth . We inquired about more and they dropped off a pkg of cleaning clothes to use as face clothes . The couches and chairs were not clean and there was mold and rot in the bathrooms along with cob webs . The dishes were fine but the frying pans and cookie sheets were filthy and old and could barely cook eggs as they were so old everything stuck . The beds were ok and bedding was clean . Two of the three beds were pretty hard and needed a step ladder to get up on them . It needs to be painted and windows cleaned … not an appealing place to hang out . We were very disappointed as the pictures looked fantastic . It’s on a very busy road and traffic was loud all night . Unfortunately we will not be back .
