Beachfront Complex on Sugar Beach

Hosted by VacaMaui

We chose Hono Kai due to it sitting directly on Sugar Beach.

Stainless steel appliances, air conditioning, quartz countertops, and beach gear are some of the amenities you will enjoy during your stay.

This unit is steps to the beach, and has a pool for your enjoyment.

The unit is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

The complex sits directly on Sugar Beach, but this unit only has a peek boo ocean view from the lanai.

We love having meals on the lanai and walking the beach! Some of the features of the condo include:

- Hono Kai: Unit C7
- Lanai
- Convenient To The Pool
- Queen Bed
-Twin over King Bunk Bed with Additional Pullout Twin
- Air Conditioning in Both Bedrooms & Living Room
- Pullout Queen Sleeper Sofa
- Washer/Dryer Shared On Each Floor $2.50 per load
- 55" Flat Screen TV
- Fully Equipped Kitchen
- Free Parking
- BBQ Grills
- Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs
- Boogie Boards
- Beach Towels
- Beach Cooler

Hawaiian Getaway

Great stay! Wonderful property with everything that you will need. The only complaint is that there was no warning given about the pool, beach, and BBQ area being under construction. Otherwise, amazing stay! Cannot recommend the actual place enough!

Great place close drive to everything.

This is a great little spot. I’ve not stayed in this area before. It doesn’t have a lot of close by shops or grocery but a quick 20 minute drive to kehei. It’s quiet and beautiful. Beach access is great. Neighbors are great! Beautiful surroundings close to aquarium and harbor. A little gem:) we loved it here.

Properties is located on the third floor, building has no elevator's. Going down the stairs from the loft is steep. If you have a bum knee like I do, it can be a doozy going up/down the stairs. I should’ve read the property details before booking, then realizing the reservation were none refundable. The loft was pretty warm despite the window ac on. They probably need a larger window unit. Box fan’s were provided but could use some dusting.Otherwise, the property location is prefect - 15mins to/from wailuku or Kahului. Unit felt roomy, probably because of the high ceiling. Enough beds/pull out couch to fit 5 adults.

Online listing very accurate

We enjoyed our stay. All of the pictures and details were accurate. Just one detail that we'd suggest adding...the air conditioning isn't central air. The space has 3 "window units" that are very loud. One unit is upstairs, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. We often had to turn off the living room unit to sit on the balcony and to sit in the living room. It's a small thing, but good for people to know that are light sleepers. Luckily, we spent most of our time exploring the island and outdoors, not inside with the A/C!
