A Spacious Cape Coral Retreat Built for Families & Groups

Room for everyone, without anyone feeling squeezed. This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home sleeps up to 8 across two king suites, a queen room with a dedicated workspace, and a Dr. Seuss-themed bunk room that’s usually the first thing kids claim when they walk in. High ceilings and an open layout give the group room to spread out during the day and come together in the evening — whether that’s game night indoors or everyone piled into the private hot tub as the sun goes down.

Set on a quiet residential street with a golf course at the end of the block, this home is a favorite for multi-generational families, groups traveling together, and snowbirds settling in for the season. It’s close enough to Cape Coral’s restaurants, grocery stores, and the waterfront charm of Matlacha to never feel remote, but far enough from the tourist strip to actually feel like home.

John was an excellent host. He communicated everything well and was very responsive. The house was pet friendly and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our pet needs. We didn’t use the hot tub but it was a nice bonus to have if we had needed it. We were there during 4th of July and from the backyard you could see so many fireworks shows in so many different angles in the yard. It was awesome! I highly recommend this host and this rental for short stays of long term stays like ours was. 7 weeks we stayed here while transitioning from state to state. Thank you John for all your help!

Eveything was amazing. My best stay so far. Eveything was in working order, host was so good with communication. We were sad to leave.

When we first arrived we discovered there was no water. Notified the owner and it was taken care of the next day. There were a few amenities that were missing like kitchen towels, instructions were wrong,

As soon as I was notified, I coordinated to have it resolved as quickly as possible and fortunately service was restored the following day. I was sorry to learn after your stay that you were unable to locate the kitchen towels. Had I known during your visit, I would have gladly directed you to where they were stored or immediately arranged for additional towels to be delivered. The only instructions I became aware were outdated involved the trash collection day, which had recently changed shortly before your arrival. Since I do not live locally, the updated notice unfortunately was not forwarded to me in time, but the information has since been corrected for future guests. I truly appreciate feedback like yours, as it helps me continue improving the guest experience for future visitors. Thank you again for choosing our home and for the opportunity to host you and your family. It was a pleasure having you, and I’m glad you enjoyed the house during your stay. Unfortunately, the A/C compressor failed unexpectedly on Saturday evening. A licensed HVAC company was at the home on Sunday to diagnose the issue, and the replacement compressor was installed promptly once it became available. The system is now fully operational. The home is only four years old, and the A/C system is professionally serviced every six months to ensure it operates at peak performance. While this was an unforeseen mechanical issue, it was addressed as quickly as possible. Thankfully, the weather was cooler during your visit, and I truly appreciate your understanding. Providing an excellent guest experience is always my top priority, and I would welcome the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Our host saw to our every need. As we were there to visit family, we weren't at the rental much but we had ever we needed while we were. We didn't use the hot tub or appliances. There was coffee and tea provided. We asked if he had a thermos to keep the coffee hot. He didn't but he got us one by the end of the day.The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The place was spotless.It is in a very quiet location but only minutes from restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.We don't golf but it is very close to the golf course.We don't have babies or pets but there were playpen and dog bowls provided as well as lawn chairs, beach umbrellas and coolers. Things that are hard to bring when you are flying.Communication was fast and efficient. John was very accommodating.We would 100% stay there on our next visit to Cape Coral.

I spend as much time as I can outdoors, especially on the water, and I love to travel and cook — three things Southwest Florida happens to be exceptional for. I’ve traveled across most of the continents myself, so I know firsthand what makes a stay feel right when you’re far from home: comfort, thoughtful details, and a host who’s actually there when you need them.

My background in the hotel industry shapes how I run this property — I hold myself to that same standard of hospitality here. I’m available before, during, and after your stay, and I genuinely enjoy helping guests make the most of their trip, whether that’s a restaurant recommendation, a tip on the best spot to watch the sunset, or just making sure everything’s running smoothly.
