The Ponderosa development is conveniently situated in the heart of Wapato Point with easy access to all of the highly desired Wapato Point amenities. Families will never have a dull moment exploring the expansive ground with activities such as volleyball and basketball courts, weight room, tennis courts, mini-golf, watercraft rentals, movie rentals and so much more! Spend the summer months building castles on the sandy beach or grab a towel to relax under the sun by the pool. Don’t forget a swimsuit even in the winter to enjoy the year round indoor pool or pack a jacket to roast marshmallows on the beach after an afternoon of ice skating.

Best spot in Wapato!

We have been going to Chelan for several years to celebrate 4th of July. We usually stay with another family. This year we took a family for their first time, and man did this house deliver! Great location. Small community so the pool was never full. So close to the beach that we didn’t need to bring a cooler or anything, or worry about when the kids needed to go to the restroom. Also really close to the activities area for paddle boarding, miniature golf, boat/jet ski rentals, beach grill, etc. Has all the amenities you could ask for, and more, including a wagon to bring your stuff to the beach if needed, beach towels, tv in every room, big kitchen, and beach chairs. With prices getting out of control, you have to make sure the place you get is worth it. For the first time in a few years, I can honestly say this place was worth every penny. The Hoyt’s were so responsive to every question and do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. If you’re going to Wapato, I highly advise you check this place out! We hope to stay there again and again!
