We had a very nice stay at Tidy Duck. The house was very clean and well appointed. AC worked very well. Two refrigerators and separate ice-making machine were a huge benefit. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware, glasses, pots, pans etc. Pool was very clean and temperature was perfect. The ocean facing side of the top deck was shaded after about 4pm which made the evenings very pleasant. The evening star gazing was amazing. The general area was very safe, clean and super quiet. Beach access was private and a dream. Beach was only accessible to the handful of houses on the road and cul de sac. The quaint town of duck was only 5-10 mins away and there were several nice shops and restaurants. Its not a complaint, but would suggest that access to the luggage elevator could be made with on site key code instead of remote from Realtor.

Awesome Location

Steps from the beach. We walked to down town Duck. 10 minutes from a Walmart. Location was so convenient for a family.

Peaceful and tranquil

We enjoyed our stay. The location was absolutely perfect. The private access to the beach was wonderful. Everything was in order with the house and as it should be. The only thing I would suggest would be for more seating in the living room area.

Excellent Beach Location

House was very clean and comfortable. Views are great from thebtop deck. Pool (not heated) was very nice and hot tub was fantastic! The beach access walkway is directly across the street; super convenient! The luggage lift was a very nice bonus. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Newer touch’s, but it’s very dated. The spare beds need a lot of attention. The beds themselves are not very comfortable. Loved the location and neighborhood!

Pool was a little small and needs a heater. The gas grill needs replacing, it was rusted out, Carolina property did supply a loaner for us to use for the week but we didn’t receive it until later in the day so we had to go out to dinner which was an extra expense for us! The screens need replacing, you can’t open windows because of holes in them. No tv in Master bedroom. Great location to the beach but had almost a full week of red flag days! We did enjoy the location to the boardwalk in Duck and Scarborough Faire! Wishbone restaurant was excellent. We were supposed to have stair tamer remote at the home when we arrived but had to call and have it delivered and they didn’t let us know they stopped by, had to call! All in all was a great vacation, the house itself needs updating and we only used the upstairs as there were only 2 of us! Just expected a little more as it was our 23rd anniversary and celebrating my completion of Chemo and radiation of breast cancer!
