The house was very roomy, lots of tables and chairs to sit around at to play games and eat meals. Bedrooms were very comfortable. I loved all of the windows to be able to look out at the water!!! My great nephew enjoyed being in the water!! He collected lots of shells, rocks and had a blast doing all of that! The host was very easy to contact and very helpful. I greatly enjoyed our stay and so did husband niece, nephew and great nephew!! I didn't want to leave at all. Such a beautiful scenery to look out at and we had wonderful weather!! Niece and I say outside while her son was in the water and we got to enjoy the sunshine and catch up with each other lives since she lives up North with her son. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space!! Absolutely loved it there!!!

Could not have booked a better stay: we caught enough crabs to eat and some fish. Explored the nearby towns and enjoyed the calm water.

We loved Promise Point! The house was lovely, very well equipped and supplied with basics and then some. I loved the thoughtful, "Oops I forgot it basket" in the linen closet. The property was beyond gorgeous. We sailed our small catamaran that Frank allowed us to keep tied up on the bulkhead, paddled in the marsh, and caught and ate crabs. We highly recommend Sweet Water in Princess Anne for a nice dinner out. Frank and his wife were very gracious hosts.

Peaceful spring escape

We had an amazing time at Promise Point. The property has absolutely everything you could need and more! The sunrise from the "captain's quarters" and the star filled skies from the firepit hit just right. Frank's private Island was a fun little adventure and if you time the tide just right, a quick 2 min paddle from the boat launch. Plenty of space for a medium sized family and can't wait to go back.

We were all extremely happy at Promise Point! kkjJ! The family was out from first thing in the tmorning til nightfall. We didn’t have any fire s because it was HOT! But we enjoyed the ac after dark. The house was well stoc noked and beautifully. We all loved it. We wilbbtI

The home had everything we needed. Crab pot needed a basket or steamer rack we made one using alum foil pan. The property is the perfect location being in a corner end lot it was perfect for our dog and grandkids. Unfortunately we arrived around the same time as hurricane Erin came up the coast so the weather was very windy and the tides were very high and put a damper on our crabbing and fishing. I would love to come back again Thank you Frank and I bought your book from Amazon and will pass it down to my nephew Bless you and thank you for all you do to help others

Vacation

House is beautiful. Amazing sunrise and sunsets. Use of the island an added bonus. Deal island is beautiful and we enjoyed hunting for sea glass as a family. It was a relaxing time to enjoy family, sit by the fire and enjoy each others company. Frank got back to me in a short amount of time. We saw many singrays right off our dock. We had to leave a night early due to a family emergency and Frank was very accommodating . We would love to come back again and make more memories.

As beautiful as it looks

The property sits where a quiet one-mile road meets the sound and the sound flows into a marshy area. It faces water on two sides, the road on one side, and neighbors on the other. You can catch sunrises over the water and lovely calm afternoons paddling amidst the marsh (though as the owner warns, the current can be deceptive. We set out on the paddle boat one afternoon and broke a sweat getting back. Take heed of when the tide turns.) There is a tangle of streets that intersect with the main road for walks and if you go over the bridge to nearby Deal Island, there is a lot of history and spooky abandoned buildings. Crisfield, a resortish historic fishing village, is just 20/30 minutes away. Inside, the house is open with great flow and authentic nautical touches, wood beams and joists that look like they came from boats. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the cooking supplies you're likely to need. The hosts were hospitable and helpful. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an off-the-grid experience with on the grid amenities.
