Nestled in Seaview, a historic town just a short stroll from Long Beach, this cozy retreat offers proximity to fine dining, local eateries, and eclectic shops. Bring your boat and enjoy the incredible off-shore fishing and crabbing. Explore the shoreline for more fishing, clamming, or bird watching, with the Discovery Trail beckoning for scenic walks. Unwind in the detached 125 sq ft game room or enjoy high-speed internet for streaming and gaming. With a 12x12 concrete patio and a wood firepit, Kraken's Retreat ensures a seamless coastal getaway for all. Book now for an unforgettable experience!

• 12-minute walk or a 2-minute drive
• Beach Access is at the Seaview Beach Approach

Pets:
• Please declare your dogs. This home allows up to two well-behaved dogs
• $25 per dog per night, plus taxes.
• Not declaring your dogs will result in a $500 fine per dog

Convenient location near the Discovery Trail and local sites. Lots of great walks nearby and nice having the fenced yard for our dog. We enjoyed our stay.

The fenced yard was a bonus for our puppy. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well outfitted. Property management is excellent. Just wish there wasn’t so many bugs in the shower area.

We also advise guests to bring mosquito spray, and we recommend one with 30% DEET for the best protection. The perfect location between here and there

Just minutes from Long Beach, the Beach, local eateries. The dogs loved the yard. It was well groomed and fenced.

Seaview beach house

The original construction, like many of the cottages in Seaview, is pretty flimsy, but they have given the place a good face-lift! I would definitely stay here with dogs--ideal set-up with the yard.

Great Little Getaway House

We enjoyed our stay with our two dogs. It was great to have a little fenced yard to let our pets off the leash. The house was spotless and perfect for a couple. The communication with the property manages was outstanding. We will look them up directly the next time we visit Long Beach.

Memorial Getaway

Cute Cottage, nice amenities inside, if I forgot to bring they had it. The King Size bed was so comfortable, we slept well. Very pet friendly, we didn’t expect dog accessories including a a Pooper Scooper and dog baggies etc. We were just off the main road to Long Beach, with a Seaview entrance to Discovery Trails and Beach. You could literally walk everywhere. Plenty of eating establishments near by.

Good time at the Kraken

My pup is deaf, he has no recall so anytime he is out side he on hha leash right by my side, but the way the yard is set up and fenced I was able to let him off his leash

Anniversary Vacation

We stayed 5 days and would have loved to stay more. The house, yard, location was perfect. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The entire property was neat and clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our Goldendoodle as well as the short walk to the beach. The management checked with us on check in to see if we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back.

Seaview Getaway

Loved the layout of the house and amenities absolutely wonderful. A home away from home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal! The bed is very comfortable. Nice and cozy, we watched the storm through the big bay window. Loved the size of the fenced yard and patio area. Will definitely be back. Very nice house. Bed was comfortable which was surprising because most times there not. Everything that you would need to cook was there. Close to beach. Fenced yard was nice for our dog. Game room was a welcome plus, as it gave our 12year old a quite/private place she could talk with her friends on her phone. Bath towels were very thick and nice, just like at home. Will definitely recommend and return.

Cozy little home with everything you need!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute and very comfortable cottage. Lots of fluffy towels and blankets, slept great on the king size bed; home was stocked with everything you might need. We loved our stay. Spent the days at the beach with our dogs; enjoyed the local restaurants at night. LongBeach is full of great restaurants. We will be back!
