Thanksgiving Trip!

We were traveling to the area for an AKC event, and stayed for three nights prior to Thanksgiving. Matt's house was the perfect home base location! Loved the moutain setting while still being convenient to the places we need to travel to. House was beautiful and clean, and we loved watching the deer roam the property. Second time staying at one of Matt's properties, and neither disappointed!

Nice quite house on a hill!!

The drive to the house is gorgeous. We had deer eating in the front yard everyday! Its very peaceful, you cant see neighbors. Its close to Purcellville and Loudoun Co Virginia which are gorgeous! Its also close to Harpers Ferry which is nice too. It has a big living room and nice kitchen. Definitely worth checking out if looking at this area.

Enjoying nature in a perfectly equipped house

Quiet, within green forest and grazing deer in the early morning, everything functioning and well equipped. We do not recommend to find this house during nighttime ... but once there, the pathway is ok. Very nice mountain lake for swimming but entrance fee required.

Great new property

Nice house, new and clean. Easy communication with owners. Near Harpers Ferry and Loudoun wine country. Great for a girls trip. Unsaved roads so take SUV or similar. Great views, esp during fall

Nice stay

Cute house and great location to look at the changing leaves. House had everything we needed and was clean. The owners provided good instructions and were quick to respond to messages. The house is a little more remote than I realized. We were in town for a wedding in Purecellville and were hoping to get Ubers/Lyfts to and from the events but weren’t able to ever get one in that area, glad we rented a car. Over all a very nice stay!

Woodland Getaway

Lovely setting amidst the trees and boulders with multiple deer grazing throughout the day. House was new and very clean, great windows and deck with a hammock. good size for our party of six. LOVED the sofa-pulled it out into a bed and used for lounging, reading, watching TV. Not sure if the neighborhood allows or already being planned for but a firepit would really be the cherry on top for this property. Owners very prompt with communication.

Beautiful secluded getaway

This was exactly what we needed and wanted for a serene week in the woods. This rental was just as pictured, everything looked brand new, and it was immaculate and comfortable. The beds are platform frames and memory foam, I believe. They were a little more firm than I prefer, but seem to be of quality. We enjoyed watching the deer walk right by the house every day. It takes less than 30 minutes to get to Harper's Ferry and other accommodations. Great communication from hosts! Overall, a relaxing week.
