Perfect location for beach visits. You have lots of local restaurants. You can go eat at then you have Desoto Beach right on down a little bit if you wanna drive an extra hour to see some really cool seashells and keep some. I would say that maybe the management team doesn’t communicate too well with the owner on what’s already broken or not but maybe there’s some miscommunication in there that needs to get fixed other than that some of the things were not exactly as listed, but for everything that had to value around it made it worth it price in the family’s opinion. The host was amazing as well and responded almost immediately.

Looking fir a home away from your home

My family and I came for a getaway before the kids went back to school. The house exceeded our expectations.Close to grocery store, restaurants and beaches. I would definitely recommend this house to my family and friends. And if we come back to the area we will definitely rent again.

Great place to stay!

I can't say enough positive things about our stay. The owners are very communicative. The house is in a great location just minutes from the beach. Lots of space for our family to spread out. Nice, warm pool! Linens and some towels were provided. I would recommend bringing additional towels (which we did). Would most definitely stay here again.

Great place and location!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The place was perfect for our family. It was nice having 2 living spaces, 2 tables and we even had fun competing with each other on who got high score on Pac-man! :) The screened in patio was nice and we enjoyed the heated pool. Every time we had to contact the property manager, he got right back with us. Great location...grocery stores right around the corner and only a short drive to the beach. I would definitely stay again!

Family birthday trip

Beautiful property, very spacious. Loved the pac man game. The place just needed to clean more thoroughly like under the beds were full of dust, the pool was not heated as they said. The front door kept giving trouble to open with the latch. Overall the place is in a great location and lots of room.

Thanks for your stay and the review. We asked the cleaner to deep clean the house every month in addition to the regular cleanings . The pool heater is turned off between May and October as the weather is mostly between 70-90. It would be to hot in the afternoon if we keep the pool heater on even just for the morning. There was a loose screw for the door strike plate that caused the latch problem, it was fixed right after you mentioned the issue. Thanks for your feedback, we will always improve!

Clean

Home was clean and had plenty of place settings for our early Thanksgiving meal. There were more pots & pans than most properties which was great. We couldn't figure out the can opener, even after checking YouTube videos. We did not enjoy video cameras being all over the property, especially in the backyard over the pool.

Thanks for the review and the suggestions. We had to cover the outside of the house with security cameras for the protection of our guests, specifically in the pool area as we had quite a lot kids guests. For the future guests, feel free to cover the camera with any cloth. We don't have any cameras inside the house.

Not wheelchair accessible

The Good Home is nice. Beds were comfortable. The pool was nice but smaller than it appears in the pictures. The Bad Listed as wheelchair accessible and it’s not. You can get the wheelchair in the house, but not without assistance. In addition, the person won't be able to shower or use the restroom as every door to a restroom is only 22" wide We had several conversation with the owner asking about the accessibility before booking the home. Owner and VRBO were unwilling to make it right. Owner did offer 10% back which barely covered 1 night in a hotel for the person in the WC. Owner controlled the temp on a Nest-no range on it. NO hot water in MB shower and barely any in the ½ bath. 1 screen door on the patio was missing the bottom rail making it unsafe for kids. There are no child safety locks on any doors leading to the patio. The other screen door stayed closed only with a slide lock at the very top making it unusable for shorter people. A pair of dirty underwear in the yard. The yard could use some maintenance.
