Nestled in the hills, this home offers amazing views and spacious accommodations. A fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of work space and updated appliances that will make preparing meals a breeze. The large dining room table is great for everyone to gather together. The three bedrooms are large and offer plenty of privacy for guests, and there is an additional space with a twin bed. The patio has reclining loungers that will give you a front-row seat to the mountain views. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the hot tub is just the thing for those aching muscles after a day of hiking or a good workout on the home's Peloton. You'll have access to two standing/sitting desks with office chairs, and the WiFi will make it easy for remote workers and students to perform some online research for those last-minute projects. Make the best vacation memories in this gorgeous home.

THINGS TO KNOW
A Chromecast device is available.
The pool is not heated.
The office with two desks and a folding bed in the closet does not have a door.
The bedroom with twin bed also has a folding twin bed located in the closet.
The fireplace is not for guest use. The wood logs in the fireplace are for decoration only.
Please note that the living room, kitchen, den, dining area, and sitting area are all on one level. There are three small steps up from the hallway leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Please exercise caution.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The place was spacious, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool and hot tub were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location was also great, being only 5 min drive from the Sabino Canyon recreation area.

Everything about our stay met our expectations. We used all three bedrooms and they matched the descriptions. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels for the pool/hot tub. The views of the Catalina mountains were spectacular; we enjoyed them with our morning coffee out on the patio. We really enjoyed the artistic touches throughout the home. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Desert getaway

Great place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Beautiful artwork on the walls. Nicely appointed kitchen, with all the things you'd ever need to cook great meals. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in September, although it was unseasonably hot. While the pool should have been a wonderful respite from the heat, it was instead, absolutely freezing and the umbrella was broken. Only the broken umbrella was within the home owner’s control however. The rest of the house was

Inaccurate description

The listing stated there was one king bed,one queen bed, one twin and one trundle. The twin was a cot for a toddler not something an adult or teenager could sleep on one because it was too short and the springs popped right through. The trundle bed was a day bed right off the front door with no doors or privacy. It looked like a dining room without the table. They might as well have just put air mattresses out everywhere. Speaking of privacy there was a ring camera. I do not want someone watching me go in and out of a house or getting notifications. It made me feel creeped out and privacy violated. Someone left red bull cans all over the house and out by the hot tub. And the code to get in was not the one sent to us. The way I got in was through the open door attached to the laundry room. Trying to call and get someone to help with everything took over a day.

Stunning views in a lovely home!

Excellent location for amazing views of the Catalina Mountains. We enjoyed peaceful mornings watching the sunrise over the mountains and evenings watching the sunset reflecting off the mountains from the hot tub.would definitely come back

Perfect mountain retreat with stunning mountain views

Our stay was fantastic! The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views of the mountains, which made for a peaceful and scenic gateway. The property had everything we needed, including a beautiful in-ground pool and spacious working areas with three desks - perfect for those of us who needed to work remotely. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and productive stay!

Beautiful house with great location

My family stayed here over our Spring Break vacation the first week of March. The house was exactly as we had seen online and hoped. Great size, wonderful views, quiet location, and a great hot tub. We spent almost all of our vacation hitting local hiking trails and coming back to this house with the pool and the hot tub was welcome relief for tired/sore legs and feet.

Fabulous choice for VRBO with views

The property in reality was just as advertised in VRBO site. Incredible views, lovely and quiet setting. Well equipped kitchen. Furnishings very Mid-Century modern but quite comfortable. Nice stargazing from patio, terrace and spa. We will return. We didn’t want to leave. ;)

I canceled 10 days before

I canceled 10 days before due to a family emergency (my mother ended up in the hospital,) and these people refused to refund me any, ANY portion of it. You are inhospitable and unkind.

Sanctuary

This place is so relaxing and was a sanctuary. The perfect spot to relax and unwind. I enjoyed the hot tub and the pool the most. I’m from Florida so we like our oceans and pools. The sun deck was beautiful, you could see Sabina canyon. Last night i got to see family of coyotes , they were howling , must have been a full moon. ) I highly recommend this vacation rental. The bed was super soft. I loved that I was able to cook on property. I took very good care of the house as if it was my own. God bless! The whole house was amazing.

Relaxation Plus

Convenient location with privacy. Comfortable beds, plenty of room, resulted in an enjoyable stay. Had set this place up as a common meeting ground for people that hadn't seen each other in years. We were able to spend valuable time together catching up without worrying about disturbing others.

College Drop Off

Our family stayed during college drop off week. The house was a great place to relax with our daughter before she heads off to college. We really enjoyed the pool after a hot day out. Another plus was that the kitchen was really well stocked, we like to eat at home and we had everything needed to cook our meals.

Amazing view. This house is perfect, views are to die for and the pool and hot tub lend you a relaxing time with immaculate views of Mt Lemon Close to Sabino Canyon and Mt Lemon, easy access to Kolb road which is a staple road being from Tucson I can not give enough stars for this House. I work for Vrbo and would stay here next time I come to Arizona

We loved this place!

My family of 5, including 2 kids and my mother, really enjoyed staying at Serenity Awaits! We're from Hawaii and someone asked me, "Where does one go when already living in paradise?" My new answer: "Serenity Awaits in Tucson!" This is a beautiful home - clean, well-kept, simple layout, tastefully yet minimally and essentially decorated and furnished (which I like because although I know I'm at someone's house, during the time we're there, I want to feel like it's ours). My husband and I still had to work during this trip, but we couldn't complain. My husband used the office/workout room and connected his laptop to the 34-inch curved monitor, which he now wants to get for himself. I naturally get up early, so I worked at the dining room table and watched the sunrise. My mother enjoyed watching a documentary on the Beatles in the living room and my kids VERY MUCH enjoyed having the pool to themselves after having been at a couple of other hotels on this trip. The pool was a nice size and clean. My older son actually improved his freestyle swim stroke a lot being able to go back and forth and not have to worry about getting in other people's way or them being in his. Smart how there is a side door to the bathroom for easy access when you're done with the pool so you don't have to walk through the house to get there. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out on the patio overlooking the city and looking at the night sky. Perhaps if we were there during the fall or at least a cooler time of the year, we would've loved to eat our meals on the patio as well, but we could still enjoy the view from the dining room as that corner of the house had big windows and screen doors. We used the kitchen to make breakfast. Lots of counter space and space in general as 2 or 3 of us could be in there without bumping into each other. As far as I could tell, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and your usual staples, such as salt and pepper, etc. Take a quick inventory before heading out to the grocery store to make sure you don't buy something already there or end up not buying something cause you assumed it was there. One last thought...we drove to the house from the Olive Garden in Irvington (I believe it was) after visiting the PIMA Air & Space Museum and Titan Missile Museum. It seemed like a long way to the house once we got off of the freeway, so much so that I was concerned that I picked a place to stay at that was very out of the way. Turned out, the rest of the places we were going to check out or wanted to eat at, were all about 20 minutes away from the house and close by each other. It was totally worth staying at a house tucked away a bit to enjoy the peacefulness and comfort. We definitely recommend staying at Serenity Awaits and hope to go back there one day. Desert Gem with Views

I went to UofA years ago so I've seen lots of great views in Tucson--this is one of the most unique! Brought in my family for a week in the middle of summer. Serenity Awaits is just a really cool house, loaded with everything we needed for a summer desert oasis escape. Plenty of seating inside and out; lots of kitchen and bathroom amenities; super quiet neighborhood; and the pool scene is just what we needed. Even found a book I couldn't put down so it's in my Amazon cart now!
