Immaculately designed mid-century modern home, with high ceilings, lots of light and windows to capture garden views throughout. Patio and fire pit to enjoy al fresco dining. Separate office/studio provides additional privacy to the 4-bedroom / 2-bath home (sleeps 8). Easy access to freeways and close to numerous Bay Area attractions, yet a serene retreat amongst half acre of trees. Great hiking trails (Mills Nature Canyon & Crystal Springs) just 5-minutes away.

Excellent home for an extended visit

-The home is spacious, comfortable, and fully appointed. -It is well located, close to downtown Burlingame as well as I-280 for easy access to downtown San Francisco as well as destinations further south on the Peninsula (e.g., Stanford, Palo Alto, etc.). -The house is set back on a very private and quiet lot. -Heather was a gracious host: she communicated clearly and promptly and was extremely responsive on all questions we had. -We enjoyed an extended visit (~2.5 months) and would happily return for another stay.

Perfect for a family trip

Heather's place was perfect for a family trip with our parents and little one. Home was very spacious and was equipped with all the necessities. Heather was very easy to reach and communicate with. Thank you for hosting us!

Zen like, clean, surrounded by nature and comfortable!

From minute one, Heather was a clear and excellent communicator. The home was convenient to get to and alternative to the hum drum airport hotels. My colleagues and I are very close friends and enjoyed the space to relax, eat in and even watch a movie. A little home away from home! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great house

The house is very nice. As depicted in the listing. Luxury furnishing and finish. The property host was very communicative and available quickly for any questions. Outdoor space was hard to enjoy due to the weather and time of year, so can't comment on it, although the patio layout was very inviting. Convenient to highway 280.

Fabulous location…magical property!

We loved our Hillsborough Thanksgiving VRBO! Perfectly located for our events. Heather was a responsive and fabulous host. Lots of space, great kitchen, lots of parking, comfy beds…just perfect!

Feels like you are staying in a faraway forest yet short Uber to San Francisco and 10min to SFO. Our home is great for a family vacation (sleeps 8) and also suitable for business travel with high speed WiFi. Keyless entry makes for an easy check-in, and the home is well equipped with all the amenities you may need to enjoy your stay.
