Yellow Door Ranch - Convenient comfort, mid-century style! Great for families!

Our peaceful house in Vancouver is just the right spot to feel at home and relax. The space has been tastefully remodeled in the midcentury design, with comfortable beds and everything you need to make your experience the most! Love to cook? The kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. The location is great, a few blocks from Peacehealth medical center, one mile from the freeway, 10 minutes from the airport and downtown Vancouver. Portland is a 20 minute drive. The backyard is amazing with a large deck, firepit and ultimate privacy. We are five star hosts and aim to make our guests feel their trip is important to us.

Fantastic

This was a wonderful place to stay. We're waiting for housing to be available and couldn't have asked for a better place to start! It was such a great house, easy to live in, and the backyard was so cool! We really enjoyed it, and my kids were disappointed by the next short term rental because this one was so fantastic. You could not choose a better place!

Everything you could ever need.

This was a great house, supplied with everything you could possibly need. The layout is wonderful with 3 queen bedrooms and 2 living rooms.

Great Second Stay

This place is great as are the hosts, Josie and Stuart. This is our second five week stay - moving to Vancouver and moving from Vancouver.The house is well furnished and very comfortable. Everything you need is close by. Access to the expressways is very easy.Very highly recommended!

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood

Cute, comfortable house in Vancouver. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard with our coffee in the mornings. Close to supermarkets and downtown and waterfront in Vancouver. The welcome basket was an unexpected treat and we had everything we needed for our stay! Highly recommended!

Very pleased!

We stayed at this property for a week while visiting family and friends in the Vancouver area. We weren't at the house enough during the day to take take advantage of the private back yard, but it was very well-kept, and lovely to look at. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood that was perfect for our morning walks. Inside, the king-size bed that we slept in was very comfortable. We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels that were soft and luxurious. We only had quick snacks and breakfasts at the house, but it appeared to be equipped for preparing full meals. The host was very responsive and friendly. Book with confidence!

BEST Home we've ever stayed in!

We really enjoyed The Yellow Door in Vancouver! Wonderful neighborhood & we did a few walks. Owners had a welcome basket (never had that before!) Lots of thoughtful touches. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had all we could need. More seating than most places (and we used it all!) Beautiful backyard with breakfasts and birds and squirrels. We were thoroughly impressed!

Best week ever at the Yellow Door Ranch!

This was by far the sweetest home in a nice, quiet neighborhood in Vancouver. The back yard with high greenery covered fence line created an additional oasis-outdoor living space for this home where I spent morning watching the hummingbirds out back while enjoying morning coffee. All 3 bedrooms had amazing comfy pillows and high quality soft bedding. I cannot say enough good things about this home. Perfect for working remotely while I traveled to visit family and we enjoyed grilling in the backyard and enjoying the nice weather and sitting around the dining table indoors as well. Thank you so much for sharing your home. I hope to be back soon!

Lovely second stay

This was my second stay at Josie and Stuart's lovely rental and I look forward to my next visit. Very clean and comfortable with a private backyard to enjoy. The location is great with many restaurants and stores nearby in Vancouver. A very quick trip to and from PDX and Portland. Highly recommend!

The Yellow Door Ranch was fantastic. Josie and Stuart were excellent hosts, dealing with our concerns (only minor) on a very timely basis, even making a 30-minute trip to help us out. The location is great with shopping and restaurants close by as well as access to I205 to Portland and Seattle. The house is extremely comfortable with a living room, TV area, dining area, three bedrooms, and an office. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed. We stayed for six weeks while looking for permanent housing in Vancouver and would have happy to have made the Yellow Door Ranch that housing.

Delightful 2 week stay

I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay at Josie’s place. My daughter was expecting a baby and she was so kind to offer the flexibility I needed for my visit to Vancouver. The house was accommodating in every way- lovely furnishings, well stocked with anything you might need, very private and super clean. Communication was great and Josie was quick to deal with anything that came up. Highly recommend:)

Nicely appointed and comfortable home

This house has many nice updates and is situated in a great suburban neighborhood close enough to Vancouver proper and Portland. I stayed by myself, but it would easily accommodate a family of 4. The home is so quiet and I was able to enjoy a restful stay. The kitchen is well appointed and the hosts were great to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

This house has been in our family since it was first built in 1967. The family has changed quite a bit over the years and so has the house. We recently remodeled the home from top to bottom and are really proud of our results.
