For future guests reading this review, a few clarifications may be helpful: All smoke detectors were present and operational. The suggestion that one was “removed from the ceiling” is incorrect. Guest safety is extremely important to us. The heat was in the OFF position, which is common in this building due to hydronic radiant heating throughout the building that keeps units warm. Maintenance turned it back on promptly upon request. The shower uses a Moen pressure-balancing valve, and the building provides continuous hot water. The system functions as designed. The chairlifts at Palisades adjacent to Village at Palisades are approximately a three-minute walk through the village according to Google Maps. The toilets are standard-height fixtures consistent with residential and hotel installations. The refrigerator/cabinets contained common guest-use staples (olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, and condiments), which many guests appreciate. Upon request, we removed them and refunded the cleaning fee as a courtesy. The Keurig stopped working, as can happen in hard-water environments like the mountains, and was replaced the same day. Each concern raised during the stay was addressed promptly. We strive to provide a comfortable experience for all our guests. While preferences regarding furniture style, shower size, and overall aesthetic naturally vary, the unit is accurately represented in the listing. We are confident future guests can make an informed decision based on the photos, description, and the many positive experiences shared by others.
