Relaxing Songs of the Sea

Summary:
Songs of the Sea is a completely remodeled lower-level oceanfront apartment unit located at the beach in Brookings Oregon. It is a one bedroom, one bath, living area, fully furnished kitchen with a Microware/Convection oven and 2 Induction cooking pads, dining area, and a fireplace oasis that will bring the sea to you. Ample parking! Tranquil, restful, mesmerizing, and magical are some of the words people have used to describe the Songs of the Sea unit awaiting your arrival. There is also a private path down to the secluded north end of Harris Beach.

The Space:
There is a Queen size sofa bed in the Living Room. This is a downstairs unit. There is a lighted concrete pathway to the entrance.

Other Things to Note:
Fireplace is for use with Dura Flame Logs ONLY.
TV is a smart TV BYO Content(BYOC)
Parking: 2 parking places in front of the garage on the right.
Internet/Cell Phone Coverage/Utilities WiFi is usually reliable, but may be impacted by coastal weather. Most cell providers have strong reception, but occasional service interruptions can occur due to the remote location.

We had views from the two slider doors and great sitting deck, the room was clean and ready for us! Access to down town and everything we’d need. Great stay!

Great location on the beach. Close to all the sights we wanted to see. Owner lives on site and they were very nice and friendly but never intruded. We had a great time and falling asleep to the ocean sounds was what my soul needed. It is a bit dark if you come in at night for the first time especially for our old eyes. After first time it was no problem. Very nice stay!

Ocean View

We couldn’t have pick a better place to stay and visit with family. The ocean view was so calming and relaxing. The path down to the beach has beautiful wild flowers which I love. The owners are awesome people! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back.

Wonderful setting and accommodations. This is the perfect location for exploring the Southern Oregon coast and Northern California Redwoods. We would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Property

From the stunning ocean views to the beautiful living space and friendly but unobtrusive hosts, our stay here was wonderful in every way! In my opinion the stay was wonderful. It had a great view great communication very clean easy access to everything from beaches to stores very friendly neighbors. My husband and I thought our mini vacation there was worth the stay and would stay there again if we visit brookings again.

Beautiful ocean view

We loved the patio to sit & watch the sunset and the ocean waves. We also visited Harris beach & hiked the Redwood Nature trail. We would definitely come back, it was so nice.

Very relaxing

The location was great! We loved access to the beach.The path to the beach is on a hill. We took early morning walks along the beach and saw sea stars, crabs, and other sea critters that I don't know the name It is also located close to Harris beach and close to town. Also a great location to stay if going to the redwoods. The drive isn't too far. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for myself, husband, and 6 year old. My child slept well on the couch. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful view with beach sccess

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend. The apartment is clean and has everything a person needs. The kitchen is well stocked and simple meals can be prepared with the available hot plates and convection oven. The apartment is up high on a cliff providing great views of the ocean and there’s a path from the apartment that leads down to a secluded beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Has awesome beach access!

We stayed for 4 nights in June of 2023. Perfect place for a couple. Private entrance and deck. There’s also a path down to a beach from the backyard. The beach is only for the properties in the area so we almost had it to ourselves! The owners were super nice. The washer at the time was being repaired and they offered to let us use theirs. Very comfortable bed as well.

Absolute gem

The property location is so beautiful with a small walk down to the beach. We loved the location and apartment so much that we want to come back again soon. Ron the host reached out almost everyday asking if I needed anything and was super helpful. And a special mention about Rosaline the property manager who was very helpful with my checking in process even at 11.30 pm int hr night.Great property and great people...

What a view!

A cozy retreat with gorgeous sea views from the living area, bedroom and covered porch seating. The upstairs host is at once friendly and respectful of guests' privacy as well as attentive to their comfort (we had a minor issue on move-in that he saw to immediately), and we spent a happy long weekend reading by the fire and walking on the beach. Be aware that the path down to the shore is steep and can be muddy and a bit slippery in the rain, but it's being improved.

Highlight of our Trip

My partner and I did a roadtrip up northern california coast and made our way into Brookings for a few nights before heading back south. We loved our time at this property. The view was one of the most scenic places I have ever been. We had the sliding door open the whole time to listen to the waves. The private beach was picture perfect and we walked it every day. The deck provided a lovely area to sit and eat while looking out on the water.The house was clean with ample towels a few kitchen essentials. they provided a couple laundry pods as well so we were able to do laundry. The heaters they have installed allowed us to warm up when things got a bit chilly. Property management company was responsive and made sure everything was up to our expectations. The area around the house had some great hikes and the town of Brookings was a good size. Most of the time was spent relaxing watching the ocean, would love to come back here in the future.

Exceeded our expectations

The location, view, property, and beach were all better than we thought! Gorgeous views from the apartment and deck. The only thing we didn't know is that the owner lives above this unit. They were very quiet and he was very sweet, but just didn't know someone would be there above us. We have highly recommend this property to our friends. It was outside of town but close enough for it be very convenient, in a quiet, ocean front neighborhood. Didn't realize the beautiful beach was private, which was great! Had it all to ourselves most of the time we were there. All the communications were good, and the value was great compared to other nearby properties. We liked it so much that we wanted to extend our stay another night, but sadly, it was booked. Hope we get another chance to go back!
