Bear Pause was one of the best cabins my family and I have stayed. Alex was great and was not overbearing like Nick or some of the other managers I have come across. The grand kids really liked the movie room. The kingsize beds in all rooms was a plus. Bathrooms on each floor was great.

Lovely home in a great location

This cabin was great and we enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely rent again. Everything was as described, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great Short-Stay Vacation Rental

Property met our needs perfectly and was reasonably priced. Well furnished and well appointed for our group. Very close to GSMNP and conveniences of Pigeon Forge. Only drawback was the sawdust mess created by carpenter bees. Thanks for a great overall stay!

We loved it

Great place for a family hangout. The cabin was clean and in good shape. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool, and of course the national park nearby. The owners really like informative signs! Which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Loved the house!

This house was great for our family vacation -- a couple of siblings and their grown and teen kids. All bedrooms/baths were nice, very clean, hot tub, and a theater room (a nice bonus) for rainy days and/or quiet evenings after a day outdoors! The wrap around deck facing the woods is also a nice place to sit and read, talk or enjoy the hot tub. Would definitely return!

Perfect location and parking!!

This cabin was perfect! Less than 2 miles from the parkway, traffic light 10. Everyone had their own space with the bedrooms being on all 3 levels. Tvs in every bedroom. Theater room was perfect for a 2 yr old that loves Mickey Mouse. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a super nice cabin to stay in.....

Great cabin! Beautiful wooded view from the living areas and porches!

This cabin is well equipped. Our maintenance request was taken care of quickly. We loved the hot tub, pool table and enjoyed a family movie night in the cabins theater! We also appreciated the board games for the kids though many pieces were missing. Thanks for a fun, relaxing Easter weekend for our family!

BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN

We just left from our stay at this cabin. Everything was VERY clean and the cabin was beautiful. We have a 6,2,and 1 yr old so we appreciated the small gestures such as baby gates, high chairs, and step stool that they had available for us. We have decided that this will be our annual cabin for our getaways. We highly reccomend this cabin!

We couldn't have picked a better cabin for our wedding get a way. It was absolutely perfect. The owner was great. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. Beautiful cabin. If 10 stars was possible I would give them.y wife and kids loved the cabin as well. We will definitely be back hopefully every year. Thank you so much Amy. It was a amazing time.

Beautiful cabin and great owners

We are so happy we chose to stay at Happy Ours! My family had a blast. The movie room and game room kept us all entertained. Such a nice kitchen with more than enough to prepare our meals with, which we appreciated very much. The cabin even has baby gates and a high chair and step stool for the smaller children. The owners seem to have thought of everything! We loved the layout with a bedroom being on each level (2 bedrooms on the lowest level), and we found it to be very clean. Highly recommend!

Excellent cabin!

We were very happy with our stay at "Happy Ours". We had 7 people with us including my wife and 2 young children (8 yr old boy & 6 yr old girl) and my wife's mom, dad and brother. The layout was excellent and everything was in excellent working condition. Our kids LOVED the theater / entertainment center in the basement and my wife and mother-in-law loved the hot tub. It was in a little cul de sac off the main road which was also nice and backed up to the woods. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. We would recommend this location to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Ours! Very nice cabin, tastefully decorated, and great location!

This was a very nice cabin, right by Pigeon Forge, and not far from Gatlinburg. The beds were very comfortable and the 3 reclining armchairs with cup holders in the theatre were awesome! And my husband really appreciated that the projecter and DVD player worked perfectly as soon as we turned them on, that does not always happen! The kitchen has just about everything you might need to cook up meals. The appliances were all very nice too. The internet worked well, much to my kids delight. The cabin felt very homey, we would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable and private

This is a GREAT cabin. What I liked most about it is the privacy. It sits high up on its own private hill and is located within a huge cul-de-sack with ample parking. I found the cabin itself to be very clean and has a large kitchen with everything you need to make a homemade meal. It's completely stocked with everything, except food. The theater room is GREAT! It has a HUGE screen and an amazing sound system. It has a very nice pool table. The rooms, bathrooms and the cabin overall is comfortable and spacious. The view is beautiful and very private. This is a great place to stay for a vacation.

Awesome Stay!

Shirin and I brought our 6 kids and we were expecting the best and we GOT the best! Amy was very helpful and quick in her responses even whilst on vacation, so that was appreciated. The cabin was perfect, as we made breakfast every day and grilled almost every night, after going into the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. Really too much to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The hot water was hot with good pressure, a lot of room to run around and relax. The theater was awesome, just didn't have much time to use it as expected. Anyways, we HIGHLY recommend this cabin, Amy/Cofield rentals, and look forward to coming back someday!
