Bearfoot Lodge is a spacious 2,500 square feet 5 bedroom/4 bath cabin in a desirable area of the Smoky Mountains just 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and a 12 mile scenic drive to historic Gatlinburg. No mountain roads required to get to this cleverly located resort with outdoor community pool access for our guests. Long covered porches with a private hot tub and separate game room make this a perfect retreat for families, friends, and couples. And did we mention the sunset mountain views?

Nice cabin

Great cabin in a great location. Cabin was clean and met all expectations. Convention to everything. Quiet area. I would only make a few suggestions, none of which would cause me to not rent this cabin again. The upstairs bed needs a light quilt on bedspread instead of the heavy comforter, the furniture is comfortable but sets low to the ground making it a little hard for us older people to get up from and the pool table needs leveling, a little love and new balls. Minor things that did not take away from the cabin.

Good Option for Busy Families

We had not been to Pigeon Forge in awhile and we enjoyed the location of this property, as it was only 10-15 minutes from most of the activities we had planned for our trip. The cabin is decorated nicely and there was plenty of space for our family and my parents. It has a beautiful view of pastures and the mountains in the distance, which was nice.This property is great if you are wanting a great "landing" place, wanting to be out a lot doing activities. Due to the cabins in this community being so close together, there is the opportunity for this to be great for groups traveling together who need multiple houses. It is a log cabin, so there is little insulation, so you can hear everything outside. There is a road below, trash trucks at 5am each morning, and you can hear other families nearby in other cabins. This isn't a huge deal if you are there to be out and about, but if you are looking for solitude and quiet, it might be better to find something a little more secluded. We did have several issues during our stay, and the host offered to have maintenance come for what could be fixed, but we chose to work around it. The host was very quick to communicate and has assured us after our visit that all of the issues are in the process of being corrected. The best features of this cabin are the layout, views and close access to activities and restaurants. I'm hopeful the issues are going to be resolved for future guests as this property has great potential!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the cabin, and had a restful time with our family. The cabin is in a neighborhood of other cabins located fairly close to one another. It is not as private or secluded as we would have wished. It is close to Dollywood about 15 minutes and the strip in Pigeon Forge. The communication with the property manager is excellent. The ice maker and water dispenser from the refrigerator did not work, the microwave also gave an error. But otherwise the bedrooms, living area are all really nice. The pictures of the cabin are exactly what is in the cabin.

Beautiful cabin just minutes from Pigeon Forge

We rented the cabin for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The cabin was immaculate and well-maintained. Its prime location just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg made it ideal for our getaway. The property manager was friendly and helpful, which added to the ease of our stay. We are definitely planning to return on our next visit!

Great Hime & Location!

We did a family and friends trip and spent one day in Gatlinburg and were going to spend one day at the Island but the home had so many amenities and was so beautiful we decided to just stay in. Would absolutely recommend.

Comfort at Bearfoot Lodge

Our group of 6 women have been friends for many years. We totally enjoyed our short stay at Bearfoot Lodge. It felt like home almost immediately. Very clean and with wonderful views, it was a great place to reconnect and spend time together!

Perfect Location, Awesome Cabin

We’ve visited the area many times and must say, this was a great cabin and the PERFECT location. All the conveniences - grocery, gas, food, entertainment - a very short drive away. Not stuck in traffic trying to get to your hotel/cabin…again, it was perfect. Also impressed with the communication with the hosts…replies to messages very fast and information is spot on! Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend this cabin!

Beautiful Cabin for a Family Vacation

This property is centrally located to easily get to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg and Seiverville. I was surprised by the amount of traffic in this area (be prepared for it to take a while driving through the mountains!) This location was helpful for that. The house was clean and fully stocked with linens, blankets, towels, etc. The bedrooms/bathrooms were a great set up for our family (everyone had their own room!). The common area was fun for movie and game night (we brought out own) and the kitchen layout was great. Both porches offered a beautiful view. If you come and are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. A true log cabin design makes it so that you can hear what is going on in the house. Some nights you could hear neighbors coming/going early into the morning. Again not an issue for us, but something to note and be prepared for. Andrea was a great host - quick to reply and answer questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Beautiful cabin with a nice view -also pretty close to town. The host was a great communicator and shared everything I needed to know. My family (10 adults and a toddler) were all very comfortable and had a great stay in the smoky mountains.

Perfect family cabin

We went for a family vacation and this was perfect for us. Not too far out of town but far enough from the crowd. Perfect for the grandchildren with lots of games to play and a pool close by. We will definitely be booking our next stay here. Everyone had their own space as well as room for family time together.

Deluxe Mountain Cabin

I will fondly remember the glorious views, family dinners, games and movies we enjoyed in the cabin. We took in Dollywood, hiked to waterfalls and climbed to Clingman's Dome. There are endless opportunities for nearby fun. Thanks for making our vacation so spectacular.

The Great Smokey Mountain Escape

This Mountain Cabin was fantastic. The interior was beautiful. We did most of our meals there, cheaper than going out to meals with 11, it has a well stocked kitchen for anything you need to prepare meals with. Everything in the kitchen worked well. The view from the back decks was spectacular. Amazing sunsets every night. Hot tub was relaxing and the pool was convenient to drive to. The drives to Gatlinburg and Dollywood were easy. The rides through the Great Smokey Mountain National Park were great. If you have a big group this is the place. Andera our host answered any questions promptly. This was a 5 star vacation spot. Great family vacation

This was a great property. We had 6 adults, and 5 kids. There was plenty of room, and we never felt we were on top of each other. The game room on the lower level was a huge hit. If you do happen to need to contact the host, she is very quick to respond, and very helpful with any questions. The views from this cabin were absolutely beautiful!! Check in was a breeze. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We prepared/ate most of our meals at the cabin. The location is close to all of the activities, but it’s in a nice, quiet area. You will enjoy your stay here!!

Semi annual family vacation

Property was great. Big enough for our extended family of 13 people. Only thing..not enought forks 😀. The guys didnt like parking on the hill...but it is in the mountains what do you expect...lol. Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic Cabin!

We were a family of 8 adults and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We loved the large porch and spent a lot of time out there. It has one of the most beautiful views we have ever seen in the mountains. The rooms were very comfortable. Everyone slept really well in very comfortable beds. The kitchen was easy to cook in. I would definitely rent this cabin again..

Smoky Mountain Trip

Cabin had all the comforts of home! Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds. The kitchen was well appointed and the cabin was very clean! Kids enjoyed the rec room and hot tub! It was nice to have a starter of coffee, paper products, hands soaps for the kitchen and all the bathrooms! The owner is very responsive if you have any questions or issues. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Get-away

Cabin was extremely clean and was very well equipped with all of the necessities! Location was great and close to Pigeon Forge. Communication with Andrea was highly above expectation. She would get back to me within seconds of sending her a message! It was a great little get-away!!

Great get-a-way

This cabin was the perfect set up for our family reunion. There were ample bedrooms and bathrooms to allow everyone to be together but still have some privacy. The location is convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough off the main drag to allow for some downtime. The host is very communicative which made check in and departure a breeze.

Spring Break

This was the perfect place for our family spring break. It fit all 12 of us, and everyone had their own space. It was close to all of the activities in PF and GSMNP. My kids loved the pool table and video game! Thanks so much for the great stay!
