Bearfoot Lodge is a spacious 2,500 square feet 5 bedroom/4 bath cabin in a desirable area of the Smoky Mountains just 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and a 12 mile scenic drive to historic Gatlinburg. No mountain roads required to get to this cleverly located resort with outdoor community pool access for our guests. Long covered porches with a private hot tub and separate game room make this a perfect retreat for families, friends, and couples. And did we mention the sunset mountain views?

The cabin is most definitely centrally located. We had plans for a day at Dollywood, then a day in Pigeon Forge. A few minor things communicated with the host who responded quickly.

Family vacation at great Smoky Mountains National Park

It was a great place to stay for a family vacation at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is located close to the park, it had everything we needed. The owner answered any questions we had immediately. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great Hime & Location!

We did a family and friends trip and spent one day in Gatlinburg and were going to spend one day at the Island but the home had so many amenities and was so beautiful we decided to just stay in. Would absolutely recommend.

This property is located just out of Pigeon Forge, great location and had the prettiest view! We loved our stay. There were 7 adults and it accommodated us very well. There is a store just a few blocks away and the was nice for items we needed when we first got to town. Pool was closed the first couple of days so we didn’t get the opportunity to use it. But the deck right off the main living area was nice. Only issue was none of the windows had screens so we couldn’t open windows without letting in the bugs.

Perfect family cabin

We went for a family vacation and this was perfect for us. Not too far out of town but far enough from the crowd. Perfect for the grandchildren with lots of games to play and a pool close by. We will definitely be booking our next stay here. Everyone had their own space as well as room for family time together.

Deluxe Mountain Cabin

I will fondly remember the glorious views, family dinners, games and movies we enjoyed in the cabin. We took in Dollywood, hiked to waterfalls and climbed to Clingman's Dome. There are endless opportunities for nearby fun. Thanks for making our vacation so spectacular.

It was a wonderful cabin!

Everything was clean and was a wonderful layout for multiple families. We could all be together but still had separate spaces for peace and quiet. Great location being only minutes away from Pigeon Forge and about 20-30 min from Gatlinburg.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the cabin, and had a restful time with our family. The cabin is in a neighborhood of other cabins located fairly close to one another. It is not as private or secluded as we would have wished. It is close to Dollywood about 15 minutes and the strip in Pigeon Forge. The communication with the property manager is excellent. The ice maker and water dispenser from the refrigerator did not work, the microwave also gave an error. But otherwise the bedrooms, living area are all really nice. The pictures of the cabin are exactly what is in the cabin.

A hidden Jem!

We had plenty of space for our family getaway and bedrooms on the main floor so my father-in-law didn't have to climb stairs to his room. It was very clean, had the best bed I've ever slept on and had plenty of activities to keep the kids engaged. I would stay here again without doubt!

8 is enough

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bearfoot Lodge! We found the cabin to be clean, updated, and extremely comfortable. The appliances were all functional and everyone (all 8 of us) felt like the cabin provided plenty of space for everyone. The view was magical and we were close to everything. Will definitely be back!

Great Place to Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. I would actually give it 4.5 Stars. It wouldn't take much to be a 5 Star, just some minor issues that can be easily fixed. Our kids LOVED the game room and it kept them out of the adult's hair. LOL! The property owner was VERY responsive to our questions and very nice

Family fun time

We stayed in a lovely 5 bedroom, 3 bath cabin for 5 nights with our daughter and 5 of our grandchildren, aged 6,7,8,14,&18….so we certainly appreciated the extra room. The bottom floor had a bunk room with a full-size bunk bed and another bedroom with a queen bed. The main floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed. The top floor has a bedroom with king bed. Each floor has its own bathroom. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are on the main floor and spacious enough for the entire family. There is also a deck with a hot tub off the main floor. The bottom floor also has an outdoor sitting are that is quite nice and secluded. We appreciated the slats at the end of the deck which increase the privacy on the deck. I also appreciated the quality of the cookware provided. That is not usually the case in cabins in the area. Since we cooked some of our meals, that was definitely a pleasant surprise. I can recommend this cabin for a family stay in Pigeon Forge!

Magnificent Cabin !

We traveled to the Smoky Mountains for the first time with our family and our stay at the Bear Lodge Cabin was as beautiful and magnificent as described. The cleanliness as well as the beautiful and spacious room it’s provided for our large family of 14 made our trip spectacular! Well decorated and had such a cozy and warm feeling . It’s close proximity to Gatlinburg was such a convenient location. The host Andrea was very informative and at our disposal if anything a rose and nothing did. It was PERFECT from start to finish ! Thank you for such a great place to stay !

Beautiful Cabin for a Family Vacation

This property is centrally located to easily get to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg and Seiverville. I was surprised by the amount of traffic in this area (be prepared for it to take a while driving through the mountains!) This location was helpful for that. The house was clean and fully stocked with linens, blankets, towels, etc. The bedrooms/bathrooms were a great set up for our family (everyone had their own room!). The common area was fun for movie and game night (we brought out own) and the kitchen layout was great. Both porches offered a beautiful view. If you come and are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. A true log cabin design makes it so that you can hear what is going on in the house. Some nights you could hear neighbors coming/going early into the morning. Again not an issue for us, but something to note and be prepared for. Andrea was a great host - quick to reply and answer questions. I would definitely stay here again.
