Or, for a change, look forward to a day of wellness: The holiday park has a large sauna area with a heated indoor pool (use for a fee). Of course, you can also splash around in the large outdoor pool (also for a fee) and have a cocktail mixed for you at the bar. In the surrounding area, there are several shops for daily needs, restaurants, and a snack bar on the beach. Hohe Düne is a district of Rostock and a state-recognized Baltic Sea resort. The town got its name from the dune, which used to be located about one kilometer east of the estuary of the Warnow River. The Hohe Düne climbing forest, for example, is just a stone's throw away from your vacation home. A city tour of Rostock or a day at the zoo are also a good option.
