Kent Island Luxury Waterfront

Get away from the city and enjoy the waterfront views from the property that is nestled down a private road. Perfect for families and groups who are looking to have fun in the sun and the water. You will feel right at home, yet free of your everyday stress. Leave your worries behind and bring your family or friends. Last update in April 2024.

The space
Property: Nestled on 17 acres, Our property is at the mouth of the Chester River, where it connects to the Chesapeake Bay on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Guests can bring their tents as well and camp out on the spacious property. If you like water sports, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, outdoor games, or just a romantic weekend on the water. There is a 250 foot pier on the property with lights at the end of the pier. The fishing, especially at night is very good!

The house is centrally located with an abundance of things to see and do! With less than a 10 min drive you can be at the Terrapin Nature Walk, Kent Island Resort, Historic Stevensville, Love Point Vineyard, and many other breweries, restaurants, and parks!

Home: Spacious living room, one bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, outside and inside dining room, barbecue grill and a large deck looking towards the water and beautiful views on the main floor. Upstairs, the master bed is custom and twice the size of a king bed, couch, and private bathroom. There is a king bed and bunk bed in the second bedroom with a private bathroom. In the third bedroom, there is a queen bed that shares a bathroom with the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed. There is an air mattress available and plenty of space downstairs and upstairs for mattresses on the floor as well.

We were there for our son’s wedding and the house accommodated all of our family and friends traveling from out of state, it was nice that we all could stay together. The house itself was amazing, but the dock was the cherry on top, we had so much fun fishing and crabbing at night. We hope to go back some time!

Beautiful, spacious home with incredible water views. Glen and Julia were very helpful and communicative with any questions we had. Our kids loved fishing off the dock, the numerous board games, and running through the spacious yard.

The property was beautiful. The waterfront yard in the back was lovely to wake up to and the kids had a great time fishing and grabbing off the dock. We loved how open and spacious the kitchen was. Perfect for a good sized group!

My family and I enjoyed our stay the house. is very nice. The property is beautiful right on the water with the dock in the backyard. We crabbed and fished off of the dock. At the end of the stay we were asked to take the sheets off the bed and I saw there were stains on the mattress with no mattress cover so I was a little grossed out by that. I told the management about it. They said they were going to correct the problem with a mattress cover and they reimbursed us money for the inconvenience.

Peaceful Retreat

We like being near the water. It has a very calming effect. Waking up to the sun reflecting off the water is beautiful. Wildlife is everywhere: birds of all kinds, fox, deer, rabbits, squirrels, etc. And so peaceful!

Fantastic in all respects. I was there 30 days. Ownership/management company was very responsive. Property and location are wonderful and we had up to 10 people at one time and their was plenty of room for everybody--never felt crowded. Not cheap, but great value for the price.

Quick getaway

This was a great little getaway spot that was great for the kids. The lawn was a great space for the kids to run around. Plenary of space for sleeping and eating.

This house was spacious and accommodated our multi-generational family of 13 (6 teens and 7 adults) well. Having access to the water was amazing! The young teens spent hours catching crabs, swimming with the jelly fish, and having long conversations out on the pier. We were all able to fit around the dining room table, which was nice. Each adult couple had a private room, also really nice. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. But, there are some things to be aware of: the house is someone's home, where they seem to do a lot of duck hunting, The smell in the garage is something! Much of the home is really messy -- the cabinets, drawers, closets--have stuff (including open food) in them and nothing is organized. The interior door of the washing machine was really grimy. The towels are clean, but old...nothing special. It's not set up like a well-appointed rental property, which for the price was disappointing. Also, there's no stereo/speakers for playing music. There are no hooks in the bathrooms for hanging up towels. Several things were broken, about which the host was very gracious (e.g., the water filter wasn't working, so he left us a 24 pack of bottled water in the fridge). We had a great family reunion and the house was well located for seeing more extended family. Just want folks to know that "luxury" is an overstatement.

Happy 21st Birthday Celebration!

Glen and Julia were the best - from the first contact! The home, yard, and water views were amazing. We had our 5th childs 21st birthday with family & friends - the entire event is one we will never forget! We checked, got in contact with Julia and the entire stay was a success! The home is very spacious and fun for all ages (very child friendly, especially the toys). Wonderful kitchen, deck, and patio furniture - very nicely decorated. The main bedroom was the best! We will stay again! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend for such a special event Glen and Julia!
