Relax in this calm, stylish space located less than 10 miles from charming Crestone, one of America’s Dark Sky communities.

Pick your pleasure! Hike, climb, bike or simply star gaze out the front door. Sand Dunes national park, Salida, Alamoso, and 3 hot springs all within a hour.

Crestone offers a brew pub, pizza shop, organic restaurant, and a coffee shop. We also have 2 grocery stores and art galleries containing local work.

Beautiful, cozy home set in a wonderful area near the base of 14,000’ peaks. It was very clean and well-appointed. Lots of windows for light and open interior are awesome. The host is a very good communicator.

Clean, quiet, and peaceful.

We visited the area to say goodbye to an old friend, and it was made a lot easier for us since this wonderful rental was only a 1/4 mile from my friend’s place. Besides food, everything you’d need is available here. Clean, bright and cozy. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit to beautiful Crestone. Thanks Melody!

Absolutely stunnning scenery surrounded this peaceful home. Everything was immaculate inside with just enough space for our family of 5. Our host was so helpful and kind. I would stay here again.

Great Cabin and Host!

The cabin was great. It had everything we needed and plenty of privacy. Melody was a great host as well, providing us with plenty of suggestions for activities. We had a great time!

Just what we needed

Amazing property! We brought our two senior dogs and they loved it just as much as we did. The master had multiple pillow options and the mattress was very comfy! I loved that there wa shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were some snacks, bubbly water and some condiments we used. We spent every night cuddled on the couch with a warm fire. Highly recommend d this property!

San Luis Valley

Great Sand Dunes - interesting and amazing, San Luis Valley- vast and beautiful, Sangre de Cristos gorgeous. The 'Cozy cabin' was very clean and pleasant. Hummingbirds galore. We saw pronghorns, deer, elk, and the nearby yak herd - impressive animals.

Perfect Getaway

The location is more serene than any words could say. The house was immaculate and so comforting. Melody was great with communication giving many helpful tips. I will definitely be back. Melody thank you for the perfect reset that was so needed!

Nice quiet spot

This was a great place for us to stay, quiet and out of the way. The house has a lot of nice touches, and it was just the right amount of space for our family of three. Melody was very responsive and helpful!

Great, Quiet Getaway in Crestone

The place was perfect for our family of four with bunk beds in one of the bedrooms for the kids. We went into Crestone for dinner one night and had dinner and unwound at the house the second night after a fun-filled day at the Sand Dunes.

Beauty off the beaten path

The house was wonderful! Very cute inside and out. Nice and clean with a check-in process that was so easy. The location is far out in the middle of no where. Quite, and dark skies perfect for star gazing! The national sand dunes are a close enough drive to enjoy for a day or two! Highly recommend!
