We had a lovely stay there. It was perfect, as we were looking for a nice, reasonably priced, up north stay. So much better than a hotel room and perfect for us as we were out and about during the day and back to relax at night.

Property was comfortable and clean. It was chilly inside at night, but plenty of blankets to help with that. All in all a great experience!

We were very pleased. It's a bit rustic, but there's a lot of room that our dogs especially appreciated. If you're fishing the Pere Marquette River, doing a salmon charter out of Ludington, or putting your boat into one of the local lakes, it's hard to beat this property. Easy in and out with the boat on a trailer. We just might be back before too long.

Everything was great! We brought our dogs and they were able to run around. The air conditioner was only in one room, but they provided fans for each other room which was nice.

This property was exactly what we needed and exactly what is stated in the description. It was peaceful. It was extremely comfortable. The house stayed cool even on the warmer days. The dogs had an incredible space to run and be free. There was every amenity that we needed. I would recommend this place and we hope to come back next year!

It was a lovely older home, an old train depot. Spacious, airy, well furnished. The only glitch is both beds are up against the wall, requiring one of us to crawl out the end or over one another. At 75 & 68, that was a bit difficult. Otherwise, it even has an adorable tiger cat welcoming committee.

This is a cute cottage in the woods with lots of shade. It is rustic, but had everything I needed. It was clean, comfy, and everything worked. The owner came within minutes when I called him the first night.If you need central air, wifi and cable tv look elsewhere. Or go sit outside and pet Rocky the cat.One suggestion would be a sign at the driveway. My gps had me looking for it on the wrong side of the road.

Wonderfully set up for managing my dogs without stress. Excellent location to reach dollar stores or run into Meijer if needed. Really went well.

Very cute clean quaint house. Plenty of parking. Would have liked WiFi but that’s my fault for not reading the listing properly. The home and property were perfect for our fishing getaway. Bring your own shampoos… again my fault for assuming they were included. Would recommend and host answered all our questions.
