Located in the heart of Nantucket town, just a short walk to beautiful Harbor beaches, Main Street, shopping and World Class dining, "Tucked Away" is a charming home, quietly set back on Union Street, a block from the water.

Four private outdoor spaces provide options for relaxation: brick terrace garden with sectional seating, gas grill and lovely flower boxes; first floor covered porch with seating; deck off the 2nd floor primary bedroom with chairs and glimpses of the Harbor; and, a beautifully landscaped hedged in backyard area.

The 1st Floor's open and sunny living space is welcoming with a spacious dining area and table for 8, and kitchen. Cozy Living Room with sectional seating and TV. French doors open to a covered porch with seating, and to landscaped hedged-in back lawn.

Also on 1st Floor: Bedroom (Queen) also has French doors to the porch. Hall closet with washer & dryer. Full bath with shower.

The 2nd Floor features a spacious primary bedroom (King) with soaring high vaulted ceiling, sitting area with sofa, TV, and small work-space with chair and 32" computer monitor. French doors open to a lovely deck with chairs and glimpses of Nantucket Harbor.

Also on 2nd Floor: Two bedrooms (one with Queen, and one with two Twin beds) with high vaulted ceilings. Full bath with tub & shower.

Two tandem (front to back) off street parking spaces. Outdoor shower. A/C.

Jackie was an incredible host and facilitated early check in on a beautiful Saturday which enabled us to get a great day in before the Nor’Easter hit. The property itself was as advertised and perfectly appointed with great location. The beds were super comfy!When we couldn’t get off Nantucket as planned, Jackie accommodated us for an extra night and it was such a relief.

Comfortable and clean. We had a great stay in this renovated historic carriage house. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils. Quick walk down Union Street to downtown.

Lovely stay. Perfect location that’s walking distance to everything in town. Very clean, good quality linens and towels, and well stocked. Property is showing some wear and tear, mainly some of the paint/walls and upstairs bathroom. Queen bed (non primary bedroom) upstairs also could use a replacement as very noisy/creaky. Overall though very good and we were happy.

Fabulous location and super comfy home

We had a terrific stay at 'Untucked', the home was lovely and very comfortable.. especially the beds and linens. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy. It was simply a lovely property. Jackie was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will stay again!

Family Getaway Success!!

Loved our stay! Everything was perfect from leading up to our stay communications with Jackie, (who was extremely courteous and helpful with all my requests!) Tucked Away is a lovely, roomy Home! It had everything we needed & more! We enjoyed the outside patio areas every morning & afternoon. The location is perfectly situated near town but not in it. We were sad to leave! We’ll be back!

Great Comfortable House - Walk to Town

Six ladies were in our Group, and we went for the Stroll. December. Beds were extremely comfortable with very nice linens. The kitchen area has a table for eight and good counter space. The living room had a comfortable sectional. Two chairs are accessible, but one will not view the TV. One bedroom and full bath are on the first floor. Big benefit is an easy 10-minute walk to town with all the shopping and multiple restaurants/coffee shops, close to marinas and ferries. There is a nice outdoor space with seating. I'm a past Vrbo host, and another gal in our group is a current host; definitely will rent the house again. There are split systems in all bedrooms and downstairs with heat and a/c. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Delightful stay for Daffy weekend!

Five stars for this property….location was an easy walk to Main Street for the festival. The house itself is charming and comfortable. We particularly found the beds and linens to be really nice. The kitchen was very sunny and spacious and equipped with everything we needed. On a grey afternoon, we stayed in and enjoyed the living room with the big TV and very comfy sectional. The owner was very accessible and a joy to deal with. Highly recommend! .

Finally….Nantucket

This CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, well appointed property was perfect for our small group. 2 couples stayed in the house, as there’s only 2 bathrooms, although there are a total of 4 pretty and comfortable bedrooms. The L/R is relatively small, but there are 3 excellent outdoor sitting areas and a large yard if you have kids along. The flowers all around the house were amazing. The location is only a short walk into town and Main St. And it’s only one block from the harbor. The property manager was very easy to reach as was the house owner. GO….and enjoy Nantucket, your stay at this house will be very comfortable.

Girls Birthday Getaway

We loved our trip to Nantucket especially staying in the "Tucked Away" house. Jackie who was our contact with the home was extremely responsive from the time we booked 12 months in advance to our check out. Easily accessible to all of town walking distance to everywhere. I would 100% recommend this house and hope to come back someday!!!!

Perfect Stay

Amazing Location

We did so much in the days we stayed. This house was wonderful to come “home” to. We made meals, played games, watched movies and gas a wonderful trip. The location is wonderful!

Perfect Location for a Stay in Nantucket

The house was absolutely lovey and perfectly located - just a short walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Nantucket, and to the pier. The house was very pretty and very comfortable. Both bathrooms were well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with nice plates, utensils, wine glasses (!), pots & pans, but if you plan to cook you'll need to bring your own herbs and spices. The owner was very gracious, responsive, and helpful.
