You will love this comfortable home to use as your base camp for the days adventures. A true get away setting just atop a hill on over 3 acres, complete with old stone fence. Your own private farm house the mountains. Located at the base of the Blue Ridge and close to 6 wineries, 4 breweries, 2 cideries and 1 distillery. Super close to Wintergreen, skiing, hiking trails and tennis. Appalachian Trail is just 3 miles away. There is a ring doorbell.

One of our faves!

We have stayed at dozens of properties over the years and this was one of our favorites! Super clean, spacious and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again if we are visiting Wintergreen in the future!

Great mountain house

We had a great time staying in the house this past weekend. The host was great, easy to communicate with and flexible. would definitely come back again.

Great weekend stay!

We had an amazing stay here while taking a day in of skiing at Wintergreen and another day of visiting the many breweries and wineries in the area. If I could give more than 5 stars for location I would!! Beautifully renovated and such a great mix of old and new. Can’t wait to return hopefully in the fall!

Weekend getaway

My wife and two kids, as well as another family, stayed here for a weekend getaway to enjoy the fall weather and nearby attractions. The home was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. The owner was very communicative, the property well stocked, and very conveniently located to wineries, breweries and dining. This is a great place to stay, and I hope to return.

Better than expected

We had a very nice time here. Very nice and tucked away. Fully stocked Kitchen. Beds were comfortable good communication. We would love to stay again in the future

Awesome!

This property was amazing! Beautiful inside. Lots of room. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed the fire pit out back. The location is perfect for the wineries, breweries and Wintergreen. Jackie was awesome! Always there to answer any questions. We will definitely stay there again!!

So many options, you can go up top to wintergreen and participate in a weekend clinic at the tennis center. You can spend the day trying out the beers and wines at one of the many local breweries. Hike the Appalachian trail or one of the many other scenic hikes close by. Visit lake Monacan. We are located at the bottom of the mountain
so a bit further away to Wintergreeen but close to everything else.
